I don't think I'm very masculine, but I've been getting the "Are you a lesbian?" question pretty regularly since I was 16 confused

Really don't know what I'm doing to give off that vibe, but I just assume it's cause I'm pretty open-minded and not really too 'girly'
If you will, so will I

biggrin Hee.

I must have my jewelry and sometimes a little makeup or nail polish. I enjoy a nice blouse or pretty shirt. I like soft scents and head scarves. I like lacy boyshorts and the hipster lingerie type stuff. Hell, I can easily drop forty dollars plus online on that stuff alone.

On the other hand, I usually dip into "don't give a damn" mode. That's when I grab the nearest t-shirt, boxers, pants, and my skater shoes and head out the door after slicking back my hair and covering it up with a black scarf. This is usually in sans-purse mode with my entire life neatly stuffed into my jean pockets.

mad And somehow in either mode, guys still get fixated on my chest! Arrgh!

I LIVE for Katherine Moennig, the actress best known for the role she played as Shane McKutcheon on "The L Word" cloud9. She was a high fashion model prior to her tv success and just reeked Peter Lindberg style androgyny; she almost looked like a circa 90's baby Linda Evangelista, in person she's so tiny but she just has mad swagger love

My 2 best female friends are lesbians, but are not butch at all. And I haven't got anything masculine about myself as far as I know.

You're the exact same size as my ex. Everyone kept telling me that he was gay. His best friend was an older gay man whom he use Uncle. hmmm I thought. Now it's been 7 years since we were together, he married some other woman. He truly is straight and pretty. My daughter looks just like him, lucky girl!!!

i like having that bit of mystery concerning sexuality...
cause I'm very comfortable with beeing effeminate...
and other men would rather die than be caught with ther legs crossed...

but don't get me wrong...i'm a animal when it comes to my sexual attraction
to woman...

It's strange that we push men to be as macho as they can be and make them feel that they won't get any attention from the ladies if they don't. Meanwhile Mick Jagger, Steve Tyler, David Bowie, Prince, MJ, Little Richard etc, have to fight women off of them. The only type of effeminate men that are hurting are the ones that are insecure because of it. Insecurity never rocks.

My ex was a bit of a lush. He had no problem being around gay men at ALL and would go to gay bars because he knew men would buy him drinks. I met him at a gay bar, I was there to enjoy the drag queens and figured getting picked up would not be a problem. I talked to him like a normal friend. Had no idea he was picking me up. Quite funny. Very nice guy, unfortunately very big substance problem.

I think of myself as being very androgynous, but I don't get feedback along those lines. I have a very female appearance, but I do get along better with men. Given a choice between a male and female existence, I think I'd be happier as a male, but since I didn't have a choice, I'm fine with being a chick. Whatever. shrug

Butch girls and femme boys are hot. drool I'm attracted to a huge swath of humanity, with the more femme women (bio or MTF) being the only folks who consistently don't do it for me. If I'm gonna kiss somebody in lipstick, I want it to be a boy. mr.green

Fauxie

People have said I'm effeminate before. People have joked about me being gay. I don't really see that, I must admit, though I know I'm not a really macho guy. My wife isn't really a girly girl though. She's really quite tomboyish.

More masculine as a child but now I'm a bit of both. It seems the older I get the more feminine I get.

I find this kind of couple pretty cool. He's a bit girlish, she's a bit boyish and it works!

Another thing I saw a descent amount of when I worked the door of a drag bar was big old bulldaggers- and proud of it- with their ultra girly drag queen lovers. I think all parties still had the genitals that they were born with. The Queens were not allowed to be in the show if they changed anything down there.
