Castration?

I have been spending the last seeral years writing psychoanalytic papers. "Castration" basically refers to limitations of language and not being wholly capable of expressing one's condition (e.g. "I know something is wrong with me, but I can't quite find words for it", "I'd like to introduce some changes into my life, but I don't know what I really want"). The intitial thought was that such an anxiety might have had something to do with the penis (given the nature of first studied cases), so the meaning of the word has just greatly changed over the last century. Besides it's sort of funny keep repeating at every possible chance.

I'm just sayin' shrug

You think I kid, but I'm serious. My dad's mom had a mouth on her like a sailor. It was sort of endearing on her, really.
