Chicago hidden gems? Hi,myself and a friend are heading off to Chicago from the UK this Thursday-yay, I'm so excited I'm just wondering if any of you lovely Chicago dwellers have any "off the tourist path" recommendations?? Its gonna be great to do the toursity thing, see the sights etc but sometimes its awesome to find hidden gems, that only people who live there know of and would recommend. Soooo, let me in on the secrets...I promise we'll be good and behave(up to a certain point anyway! . All donations are greatfully received. Thanks.

I can recommend a few:
Club Berlin (in Boys Town): If you are in town the last Sunday of this month, they have a GREAT Prince vs. Michael Jackson party from 10:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. Admission is free and they have a drink called a Purple Rain that is great. Crust: An fire-brick oven pizza restaurant. Pontiac Bar: They have an outdoor patio, cool drinks and karaoke with a live band on Friday nights. I don't have any addresses, but these places can be found online. Dyes Got the Answers 2 Ur ?s

I've lived here all my life and one of my favorite things to do is hang in Boys Town. I think you guys would also have fun doing touristy stuff.
