How Do You Handle Slimeballs?

There is something that on my mind that I find disturbing.
I was trading some Prince bootleg dvds with some dude that another person referred to me.
All was fine for a while.
On one of the trades, he said that two dvds that I copied for him did not copy right or had errors.
I was kind enough to send him my master copies on loan so that he could copy them and then return them to me.
Now, here is what is not at all cool:
I have sent him numerous emails and text messages asking that he return my master copies. He has ignored the emails.
He answered the texts claiming to send them- it's been WEEKS since he has had them. He kept saying in the text messages, "Oh yeah, I'll send them today." At this point, it seems that he is going to keep them and not return my property. I'll bet if I send him another text, he would say that same thing.
Keeping someone's property that they were nice enough to loan you is pretty slimy.
I've given him plenty of time to return them - I don't like confrontation and am thinking about outing this and him within the trading community. I am almost certain he doesn't post on the org.
Would you you do?

hug I'm sorry that this is happening to you. Some folks don't seem to have a conscious, or to know right from wrong. disbelief I definitely would let the community know what is going on with this guy. Maybe they take some action against this guy, so that you will get your master copies back. Good luck, I hope it works out for you.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

The slimeball lives in Chicago and I'm in Pennsylvania - I can't go kick his ass. lol.
He makes it bad for everyone else - I will never do that again for anyone.

I hear ya, I would want to kick his ass too. People like him definitely ruin it for other people, and it's a damn shame. disbelief

When I sold on Ebay, and someone did not pay me for an item that that they won (I never shipped the item to them until I received their money), I was not shy about telling other people on Ebay about my negative experience. I was never nasty about it, but just was honest. I definitely would call this guy out on his unacceptable behavior, and make others aware of the type of person that he is.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.
