My Mother would batter them in egg and fry them!!! Poor thing thought that because she was serving us a veggie, it was good for us....  Shame  poor you. There was no healthy eating in my house  She cooked with lard, and fried everything! My siblings and I are always amazed now, how we made it without having a heart attack. | |
