Steve Harvey Radio Show

I have a question for you guys. What do you really think of this show? I have tried to like it, but can't get over how bad it is. I know Steve is "country", but his cast of characters go from being "country" to straight-up GHETTO.

I understand that he has an audience to entertain every morning, but I think he goes a bit too far.

I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I was listening to KJLH's morning talk show (it airs before the Steve Harvey Show) and a couple of listeners were calling it "coonery" and said the station should be ashamed of themselves for airing that show.

How do you feel about Stevie Wonder's show on the same station now. Definitely a different vibe. I do love Steve Harvey though.

He said that he founded this to "honor local businesses, religious and community leaders, churches and high schools for their excellence and contributions to communities throughout the country" which is alright in my book.

But how in the black & blue HELL does the name "Hoodie" fit into this shit? lol Then again, its Steve Harvey shrug

Stevie is not doing his show anymore. When it was on, I listened faithfully. I miss it a lot because Stevie used to sing live a lot with his guests and it was very cool to hear him sing songs with people like Mary Mary, Kenny Lattimore, Chante Moore, etc. Those were special moments that will never happen again.

The only thing is, I wish Stevie would have let an experienced jock guide his show. It would have flowed much better.

I think it is named "Hoodie" because it was started in LA to honor the businesses in 'Tha Hood'. I have seen a few of our local businesses that have a "Hoodie Plaque" hanging up and they are extremely proud of it.

I absolutely hate it. Today was the last straw. They questioned some lady's morals for sleeping with a married man. I could have sworn that Steve's first marriage was over because of cheating? Regardless, the tearing down of people that him and Tom Joyner do is disgusting.

I am never listening to either of them again. Sometimes I wonder if either of them has anything positive to say about anyone.

I like listening to the Strawberry letters and I think that they all are funny together. I don't think he's funny by himself. Ghetto? sometimes. but not to the point where it bothers me. btw I listen to 103.5 kiss fm in the morning more than any station when I'm on my way to work.

It's not funny anymore actually I find it quite degrading there is nothing wrong with being a "ghetto child" I am a proud one and never forget where I come from and feel blessed that me and my family left it.

BUT!!! this shit is going to far like when someone says " That's ghetto" and never EVER lived in the pj's and had mommy and daddy give them everything. That's the shit that burns my ass

highfive He is sooooo not funny. Never has been to me. Plus, he's a classless asshole in person, surprise, surprise. TWO of the benefits of working at home is that I don't have to contend with morning traffic OR radio shows. hammer
