NFL: Plaxico Burress to Plead Guilty

According to WFAN-NY(660AM), Plax will serve two years in prison. Maybe he'll get out earlier with good behavior.

Yep....NYC DOES NOT PLAY when it comes to gun laws. I'm glad, too, with all the fools in this town.

He's lucky he shot himself. He was in a crowded nightclub and could just as easily killed a bystander. Maybe now these fools will hire professional bodyguards.

The minimum is 3 & 1/2 years. Plax got off easy.

he'll be too old to be a receiver when he gets out--invest your money in a cd/stocks because he won't have ann nfl career when he gets out

He'll be 34 when he gets out..I hope he invested his money well because he might not get back in the league.

Does he look like he invested his money??? hah!

But really, I think he'll play again. Terrell will be 36 in December so why not? There will be a team that will at least take a chance on Plaxico when he's released.

Plaxico ain't got shit to do for two years but work out in the yard. All wideouts do is run and catch the ball how hard is that to practice. shrug

Football shape is much different than most other sports. The lateral movement in football cannot be duplicated.....unless u are PLAYING The game.

Is that not something someone in Plaxico's shape can regain after two years? Come on, he's in pretty good shape now and hasn't suffered any major injuries. So I'd say that if he can maintain some of his physical conditioning while in the clink he shouldn't have any problem regaining his other skills with the proper coaching. As long as he ain't fat and sloppy, somebody will pick him up when he's released.

From what I've heard, Plax will be going to a MEDIUM-security prison(in upstate NY). He should be ok as long as doesn't walk around with an attitude.

Well, then I'm betting he'll be in trouble cuz his attitude is pure stank and it's prolly going to take gettin' hit in his mouf at the least to adjust it. confused

More times than not, he will get another look at the league.
