True Blood 2.9 "I Will Rise Up" *SPOILERS* HOT DAMN that was a good show!!!
ERRRRRIC!!!  Underhanded "a-hole"!!! Love him love him LOVE HIM!!!

I was SO glad to see Lafayette get badass again! Seeing him all beat down this season has been sad. But when he got all up in Eggs' face, I was like, Hell, yeah!
I will miss Godric. That scene was really nicely done. The actor playing him is really good too. The Maryann story is getting good. Three episodes left, and I'm guessing they're all going to be spent fighting her. Can't wait. | |

I LOVED how the Newlands were unraveling on tv!
I thought I was going to  seeing them on tv in the debate and Steve had that red welt between his eyes where Jason shot him with the paintball!!

Just a quick note before bed overall the episode was well done but, the Godric thing was stupid. Id rather seen a more flushed out character deciding to off himself than what we got. Im sorry there is so much that could be done that is being so easily skimmed over. Godric would have been a great balance to the Maryann story going into the finale.
This show seems to always be rushed, and in a bad way.  The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything. |

Seriously, especially with the actor that played him as wonderfully as he did, if AB had fleshed him out a bit more, I can't even say, it would have been even more meaningful when he "met the sun."
