And you failed to acknowledge THIS point, which may reveal why you cannot see the anglocentric bias Imago was referring to.

actually i dont need a magazine to tell me how
to wear my hair or what make up to use,
i use loriel make up and i use sheen spray from a hair dressers place
didnt need a magazine
plus i wasnt talking about cosmetics, there are black magazines for that sort of stuff, i was talking about the 99% of bullshit they have in ebony magazines about shit that isnt even relevant to being black but expected to be through self racial steryotyping
but, but, but you are against black magazines. sad

Do you bitch about magazines that are geared just towards women or just to men? Or to sports enthusiasts?

no because anyone with an idea about biology knows that a man and woman think differently, the average person is heterosexual and dont exactly want the same sexes tits or junk in their face
and a sports enthusiast would be a cater for personality, not race

And I'm still trynna figure out what the fuck this shit is saying confuse But you ain't illiterate, uh huhhh hah! troll

the only reason it could happen again is if it were legal to spew racial hatred

''pick up a penguin'' lol chocolate bar smile

Again, you're really not paying any attention. Are you just trolling? lol

Magazines don't have to say "nigger" to print an article that is detrimental to black people. They simply have to spin. And spin works, it gets political involvement, and creates change--not always for the better.

If you think your rights are protected and will always be there, you're wrong. Your rights walk on a razor thin line, and constantly have to be upheld. It only takes a few focus groups and money to threaten to ban abortion and turn women who seek them into 'evil, greedy, criminals'. Women's reproductive rights in America hang on one hope--Barack Obama is a liberal.

I do recommend that you study up on spin and on minority struggles though. Your idealistic streak will last another 10 years, in which case you'll take two paths--you'll become a social conservative and say insane things, or you'll understand what Ivy and the rest of the ladies here have been trying to tell you isn't just crazy talk.

the whole minority struggles thing is a steryotype too
chris rock said ''he couldnt believe the majority of black people do not think racism effects thier daily lives''
it doesnt have to be protected by law, its protected by masses, the complaints that come flooding in when someone starts saying something a little bit racial
and i dont thinnk abortion is a reproductive right either, its a self inflicted ''privelage'' seeing as it would be biologically wrong to kill something thats supposed to happen when people have sex
''now watch what you say or they'll be calling you a radical, a liberal, a fanatical criminal''

Did you just misquote Chris Rock or are you using something that says the opposite of what you just said to support your argument?

IF YOU DO NOT LIVE HERE, WHAT THE HELL DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE STRUGGLES OF BLACK PEOPLE HERE?

and it seems 'nigger' or the highly sugarcoated ebonics 'niggah' is widley accepted. youd be more likely to be called a nigger by a black person

I am twice as old as you and live in the US. Never once have I seen Ebony or Jet say I should act like other black people.

Plus, you said that if I know biology, I know that we are no different from white people.

Please keep your story straight. I'm getting confused.

You talk about stereotypes, then you use one. "nigga" is not widely accepted here. And black people do not call each other "nigger".You keep proving your ignorance over and over again. And you ignored my comment about your Chris Rock quote.

thats was on a stand up when he was joking, he was talking seriosuly when he said what i qquoted
and im not streryotyping i meant 'widely accepted' as in 'media' because rappers are allowed to say it your more likely to be called it by a black person because its legal for some horrible reason

If your quote is correct, Chris is saying racism effects all black people.

And calling someone a nigger here will not get you arrested.

You keep speaking about being against the stuff the media tells us and then you turn around and use it to try to prove a point.

Find out stuff for yourself. Think for yourself. You are making yourself look bad by being so ill informed.
