Pick up the Penguin history of World War II (it's widly available at Borders in the UK). The chapters concerning Nazi propaganda are stunning. You see, Germany didn't just wake up one day and decide to enforce a have-you-kicked-a-jew-today lifestyle. It started with national publications and other media campaigns to dehumanize the jews. WWII Germany wasn't a race of evil, hellbent, nazis. They were regular people. The book shows the systematic campaign that started with negative publicity and ended up with mass populations relegated to the ghettos. If you don't believe this can happen again, you're very very wrong.

Nobody has to believe what they read. Nobody has to feel affected by how they are portrayed? Sure, but I've been to the UK many times, and I've seen and heard what the general "logical" population says about the Polish and Muslim immigrants after a few drinks and slip of the tongue . If they were ballsy enough to publish that kind of rhetoric, contrary to what you may believe there would be tons of people who believe it, reinforce it, and eventually would begin to 'live it'.

Minority magazines are a good thing. And when whites become the minority in the USA, they'll agree too.
