No, my xbox 360 gathers dust already so I'm not about to buy yet another system.

The DS gets the most use in my house.

nod

I don't even have a console anymore (I'll be buying the Wii one of these days) but my DSLite stays getting played biggrin

I plan on buying some classic game consoles like the NES, Genesis, and SNES/Famicom soon

You can download and play a lot of classic games on the Wii.

Illegally downloaded movies will stay there. Plus many Blu-rays and DVDs are now coming with digital copies included for use on iPods and entertainment servers such as the PS3. These can range from 1.5GB to 4.7GB. Bitrate, compression method and resolution are deciding factors as to the size of the movie file. Blu-ray downloads/rips can be much larger.

The current PS3 has a 160GB HD (or 80GB). The Slim will have a 120GB HD. Remember that you can hook up an external USB Hard Drive to the PS3 as well, so your storage options are as infinite as your bank account. Larger internal 2.5" Hard Drives can also be swapped into a PS3.

The only reason the cheapest version of the 360 is so cheap is because it doesn't have a hard drive which you will eventually have to fork out for anyway so in the long run its better paying the extra $50 - $100 more and get the version with a hard drive.

I got lucky when I got my 360. I ordered & paid for a cheaper one, but they sent me an Elite. I think they ran out of the one that I wanted and only had Elites left. I guess not too many people shell out $400 and that's why those were the only ones they had in stock. I just remember jumping for joy when I opened the box.

Damn....you still haven't bought your Wii yet? lol. Mine's been getting a little ignored lately. If I get a PS3, then it'll really be put on the backburner.

That's how it is on the 360 too, if you rent movies from the marketplace. One time I paid to rent a movie, but something came up and I couldn't finish it.....the next day, it was gone. sad You get 14 days initially, but once it starts up.....they time you for up to 24 hrs. I just use Netflix to stream on there now though.
