I finally got 2 see Wolverine last night.
I thought it was better than the X-men movies.

I watched it last night with 2 friends

Movie night

was fun

I really liked it but it didn't get great reviews. I think it's out on DVD already.

As a huge X-Men fan who doesn't like Wolverine, I thought it was pretty good. It certainly wasn't anywhere near as good as X-Men 2 (my favorite by far) or X-Men 3.

I didn't mind the creative license they took with Deadpool, to be honest.

there are tons of problems with this movie. and of the major ones, even worse than what they did with Deadpool is.... okay, the entire point of making a Wolverine origin movie is to have a crazed, feral, naked Wolverine running around the Weapon X compound hacking and slashing the shit out of everyone in sight and leaving a trail of blood and entrails in his wake.

and in the movie it took, what, all of 3 seconds? and no gore.


seriously. wtf. why would you even want to make this movie if you're going to gloss over that scene?

You know as well as I do that a scene like you described would give the movie a "restricted" rating and affect box office take. Making sure kids could see the film and that it would generate big profits were more important to the studio than creating an appropriate origin story for Wolverine.

There were many scenes that made me cringe. It will be the first X-Men film I don't buy on disc.

Anyway, I wish they would have stuck more to the core wolverine origins than what they ended up with. AND even I know deadpool was wrong!

I went out and bought the one disc version and ive watched it 3 times. I LOVE IT! and to me,its better than xmen2 &xmen3.

It's a fun movie, but it's not terribly good. I'm a huge X-Men fan and an even bigger Wolvie fan, but I won't be buying this one.

I was going to rent it, but based on Anxiety and Sexton's opinions, I'll wait til that shit is on TBS.

I enjoyed the film and loved the new characters even if they did mess around with them a bit. I always wonder if they might make a prequel to the X-Men films with the new characters introduced into Wolverine such as Gambit

Although I enjoyed it more than I thought I would, for the most part my interest in this movie was merely to get it over with so we can get that Magneto movie. I'm anxiously awaiting that one!

No idea, but the plan was a Wolverine movie followed by a Magneto one. I've heard talk about a Deadpool feature, but I hope Magnus is still next.

I thought the movie was okay, but agree with post 15...also there was an opportunity for a full frontal of Hugh in that scene that was not capitalised on, so Boo!

BTW did anyone else find Liev Shreiber as Sabretooth amazing hot...when did he become hot?!?! Do you think it might be the fangs?
