Does anyone know how to interpret dreams here?

Last night I dreamt of planting flowers in front of my work place.
They were some sort of yellow daisy. When I finished putting them in I went over and checked the rest of the garden and to my surprise it was full of life. I was shocked as this garden (in reality) is bare and lifeless. When I woke up I felt unusually happy!

Does anyone know what this means?
Is it a good or bad dream; as some people say that dreams can be the opposite in reality.

I'm not a doctor, but I think dream interpretation sails very close "horoscopes". People will take from them what they want.

You dreamt you brought life to a barren garden and woke up happy. I'd just go with that.

Thanks mcmeekle
I thing I’m just a little paranoid because things aren’t going too good at work right now - business is real bad and I just can’t afford to be out of a job!
I just stay positive!

Flower
To see colorful flowers in your dream, signify kindness, compassion, gentleness, pleasure, beauty, and gain. It is also symbolic of perfection and spirituality. Your dream may be an expression of love, joy and happiness. Alternatively, flowers may denote a particular time or season. If the flowers are white, then it symbolizes sadness. Consider the color of the flower and the type of flower for additional analysis.

To see withered or dead flowers in your dream, denotes disappointments and gloomy situations. It may signal an end to a love relationship. Or it could indicate that you may not be utilizing your full potential and talents.

To dream that you receive a bouquet of flowers, represents respect, approval, admiration, and rewards.

To see flowers blooming in barren soil, signifies that energy and cheerful nature will enable you to overcome your grievances. If you are picking flowers, then the dream symbolizes blooming love or a new developing relationship.

Yellow
The color yellow has both positive and negative connotations. If the dream is a pleasant one, then the color yellow is symbolic of intellect, energy, agility, happiness, harmony, and wisdom. On the other hand, if the dream is an unpleasant one, then the color represents cowardice and sickness. You may have a fear or an inability to make a decision or take action. As a result, you are experiencing many setbacks.

The internet will know about the different colours and objects in your dream but I think the best thing to ask yourself is what do you feel it might mean and go with it. your subconscience is the same whether you're awake or asleep.

just my gut reaction but it seems some form of positive growth is taking place at your workplace. nod

Take it from someone who has studied psychoanalysis for years: dreams do not mean anything, they exist mainly for the purpose of prolonging your sleep or in order to wake you up (this was even Freud's final conclusion). Neither is there any fixed symbolism to be found behind your dreams, but they would have to be connected to your life experiences and the analyst would also have to listen to the tone of your voice and the mannerisms of your articulation while you are speaking of your dreams and so on. The point is to observe the way you yourself establish connections between your own life experiences and what you might have dreamt.

Psychoanalysis does not know of "subconscious", but we do speak of an "unconscious" on the other hand.
