The city probably plays a big part in it...I once broke my shoe at college and I had to walk around campus, and a mile to the mall with one shoe on before I could get a new pair, but my foot wasn't as gross after that as is was after one day in NY wearing sandals disbelief

Thanks for proving me right hug lol.

I don't know if I would consider those to be flip flops. I'm talking about shoes like this....

Those are way too nice looking to be flip-flops. The photo from the article is what is generally considered flip-flops.

I have the same problem. Which is why they're "pedicure only" shoes.

I love my flip-flops!
I have lots of pairs - all of which are very clean. I wouldn't wear them to walk around a city centre though - my feet would get filthy!
They're good for hanging round the house, maybe walking to the park and stuff.... and if my feet need cleaning - i'll clean them. I can't stand dirty feet.

I haven't worn flip flops since I was 7. Now they just hurt.

this isnt new news.

I always buy old navy flip flops, they are good quality and cheap.
Rubber flip flops can be washed with anti bacterial soap and water smile
Wear them for a few weeks and toss them.

Flip flops are far worse than old ass smelly sneakers!
