This is from the old "Carol Burnett" show back before the "Mama's Family" series and it was a sketch on her show simply known as "The Family". Anyway, the show was taped in front of a live audience and each night they would put on two performances of the same show. Then they would only air one of them.

They liked to have a lot of fun on that show and sometimes the characters would change their lines during the performance in order to try to crack the other cast members up. Here's a clip where Vicki Lawrence changes her lines and catches Carol Burnett by surprise. Notice that Carol keeps her back to camera because she doesn't want the audience to see her laughing. Vicki Lawrence won't let up though and she's determined to crack Carol up in front of the audience.

I was watching this one while ago. It's called "Carol gets back at Vicki" but I don't know why. It's more like "Vicki gets Carol some more".

I love the "Sorry" sketch. I love the "Mama's Family" series but my favorite are the earlier "The Family" sketches from "The Carol Burnett Show". Mama talked much more country on those and was a lot meaner.

I have been enjoying the hell out of youtube lately. I found the impossible to find TV movie from 1981 called "Eunice". Now, if there were just some kind of way to record youtube onto DVDs I'd be all set.
