Reflect on reflection ~

So how many times - how much time do you spend looking at yourself in the mirror each day ?

Are you a mirror whore ?

Do you look at yourself in public mirrors every chance you get ?

Do you carry one round and check yourself often ?

Do you do a one ( two ) timer each day, confident in how you look/feel about yourself and let the need to reflect on reflection go ?

How do you feel about your reflection - does it show you what you are comfortable knowing about yourself ?

Do you consistantly hope things will change or dislike what you see ?

Are you a mirror whore ? I don't think so

Do you look at yourself in public mirrors every chance you get ?no

Do you carry one round and check yourself often ?sometimes I wish I had one to make sure nuthin's hangin out my nose or anything

Do you do a one ( two ) timer each day, confident in how you look/feel about yourself and let the need to reflect on reflection go ?I don't know if its confidence or more to do with being ready to leave out the door. It could be both. I don't spend too much time making a big fuss over myself unless I'm going out somewhere

How do you feel about your reflection - does it show you what you are comfortable knowing about yourself ?I guess so

Do you consistantly hope things will change or dislike what you see ?Sometimes I want things to change but it depends on how I'm feeling that day. Most of the time its not a big deal.

*I carry one in my purse, but it's more to check things like:
- is there food on my face after I eat?
- is there something hanging out of my nose?
I don't wear makeup, so I don't need to "touch up".

*I do find myself, however, glancing at my profile as I pass a full-length mirror or something that gives off a reflection. I'm very conscious of my posture because I wear heels, and of how big my butt looks.

*In the morning, I take a few minutes of "staring time" to check out the amount of gray in my hair, the blemishes on my skin, if I've got any new "things" I need to be aware of on my face... omg
And then I do a "once over" on the body- is the tummy tight? any new cellulite or bulges? boxed

*On the way out the door- definitely. Nothing is worse than someone who looks like he/she hasn't bothered to check all around before leaving the house- panty lines, things hanging, straps showing, rips/tears/holes... we've all seen 'em nod

Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with what I see. I think I look pretty damn good for almost-42. shrug

"Vanity, my favorite sin"

I use it to shave in, and doo my hair. I sometimes check an outfit in the full length. I will take a sneaky glance in a shiny shop window just to make sure my head has not fallen off but i do not carry a mirror on my person ever.

Do i like what I see, sometimes yes, sometimes no. But what I have grown up with is an acceptance to go out looking like shit, that is somehow empowering. Never in my youth would I go out in shorts and a scabby t-shirt with bed hair. These days I think, fuck all y'all i need milk, if you don't like don't look.

Oh, also like a bit of reflsexion, that is always welcome, but i don't have a mirror on the ceiling though wink

I think so. Both are tied to beauty for different reasons.

I'm not sure about the man/woman question, but I can tell U as a high school teacher: HELL YES! Teenage girls can't tear themselves away from their mirrors! eek
- One girl pulled a big-ass head-sized mirror out of her purse and set up a makeup counter IN THE MIDDLE of a history lesson! shake
- Another one got mad because I told her she can't fix her weave during class everyday!
I could keep going....

When I masturbate, I use my left-hand so it feels like somebody else is jacking me off. I paint my nails and use a mirror for full effect.

So how many times - how much time do you spend looking at yourself in the mirror each day ?well how ever long it takes me to get ready in the morning...maybe 45 minutes to an hour

Are you a mirror whore ? no...the more time I spend in the mirror, the more I overanalyze

Do you look at yourself in public mirrors every chance you get ?yes

Do you carry one round and check yourself often ?yes! I get paranoid about food in my teeth, smudged eye make-up, boogers! lol

Do you do a one ( two ) timer each day, confident in how you look/feel about yourself and let the need to reflect on reflection go ?I do a overall appearance check before I leave each day, and everytime I go into a restroom

How do you feel about your reflection - does it show you what you are comfortable knowing about yourself ?not to sure

Do you consistently hope things will change or dislike what you see ?Yes, but I try not too dwell on that too long.
If you will, so will I

So how many times - how much time do you spend looking at yourself in the mirror each day ? Maybe 3 times average - the longest is in the morning when I wash up do contacts all that jazz ( or on the non common day I do makeup - that takes maybe 10 more minutes max ) so I would say the normal time is no more the maybe 20 - 30 minutes a day (?)

Are you a mirror whore ? No - maybe I was as a teen but I really do not think I was then either

Do you look at yourself in public mirrors every chance you get ? Not usually - at all

Do you carry one round and check yourself often ? I have a small one for contact emergencies and if I eat out I may check my face/teeth

Do you do a one ( two ) timer each day, confident in how you look/feel about yourself and let the need to reflect on reflection go ? Pretty much that is how it works for me

How do you feel about your reflection - does it show you what you are comfortable knowing about yourself ? I feel comfortable and confident with mine - so I feel pretty good about it overall

Do you consistantly hope things will change or dislike what you see ? Not ususally at all - once in a while maybe but it's not usually the case

hmmm

So how many times - how much time do you spend looking at yourself in the mirror each day ? I've been known to go to the mirror multitimes a day for up to 10 minutes(or longer!) each time just doing random poses and whatnot. I will often dance infront of a mirror in my bedroom or downstairs if no one's home.

Are you a mirror whore ? probably

Do you look at yourself in public mirrors every chance you get ? YES lol

Do you carry one round and check yourself often ? No

Do you do a one ( two ) timer each day, confident in how you look/feel about yourself and let the need to reflect on reflection go ? If i'm understanding this correctly, no, I look many times thru-out the day.

How do you feel about your reflection - does it show you what you are comfortable knowing about yourself ? somedays I'm fine with it other days not so much. It also depends on the amount of light coming thru the window, I HATE looking at myself in my bathroom mirror in the morning, the sun makes everything look gross in those hours, just where the window is located compared to where the sun rises I guess shrug

Do you consistantly hope things will change or dislike what you see ? Sometimes

I look each time I use the bathroom, it's unavoidable

Are you a mirror whore ?
not really

Do you look at yourself in public mirrors every chance you get ?
I actually avoid it, if other women are in there doing themselves up. I don't think it's shame, but I know I probably look a mess, and I just don't wish to be reminded of it

Do you carry one round and check yourself often ?
never

Do you do a one ( two ) timer each day, confident in how you look/feel about yourself and let the need to reflect on reflection go ?
I wouldn't think of it

How do you feel about your reflection - does it show you what you are comfortable knowing about yourself ?
I think I look nice, it gives me comfort

Do you consistantly hope things will change or dislike what you see ?
I don't think about it that much

So how many times - how much time do you spend looking at yourself in the mirror each day ?

A few times during the day.

Are you a mirror whore ?

Not quite.

Do you look at yourself in public mirrors every chance you get ?

Nope

Do you carry one round and check yourself often ?

I carry one around but don't check myself out constantly.

Do you do a one ( two ) timer each day, confident in how you look/feel about yourself and let the need to reflect on reflection go ?

I don't make a fuss over my appearance but do check up during the day.

How do you feel about your reflection - does it show you what you are comfortable knowing about yourself ?

I'm comfortable in my own skin.

Do you consistantly hope things will change or dislike what you see ?

I'm happy with the status quo.
