When I moved back to Cali, that was one of the first places my mom took me too....there and See's Candies We refuse to go to that rebuilt one on East 14th/International Ave. Ironic thing, I live in Richmond/El Cerrito but I spend most of my time in Concord, Berkeley, and Oakland I went to Dr Comics & Mr Games last week. I freakin' love that place 3-12 grades were in El Cerrito/Richmond except for a year in Birmingham, AL. Graduated from El Cerrito. Also attended De Anza for 2.5 years I moved back to Cali when I was 12 (lived in Virginia from ages 2 to 12) I went to schools in Oakland and Alameda then transferred to Juan Crespi Middle in grade 7 and stayed there til High School. I fucking hated that place. Anytime I see it, I get sick to my stomach I went to Pinole Valley for the first 2 years of HS. Not good times there either I went to Kennedy High and De Anza for summer school too "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. i live in morgan hill, close to san jose, just moved here on july 30th. i haven't had the chance to get out and take pics. very much or explore the area....trying to get un-packed, son registered in school, etc.. but i'm curious to explore the region, and meet some of the other orgers from around this area! so far i like it here, but the cost of living for a nice place in a safe area is alot (for me) $1,850 a month compared to $975.00 a month for the same kind of place over in the sacramento area. so it'll take me awhile to get used to paying this much over here. | |

I live in San Jose. I wasn't born here but I was raised here.
Here are some pictures I took last summer playing tourist in my own town. http://www.flickr.com/pho...783031066/ http://www.flickr.com/pho...788332773/ It's that time again to breakout my trusty camera and start snapping again. I was down at the San Jose Jazz Festal this past weekend and noticed that there are some new Downtown Doors artwork. The Downtown Doors is a art contest for high schoolers in San Jose. The winners get their artwork displayed thru out downtown on doors or walls. I have to say we've got some talented kids around here. Oh btw bboy I get a discount at See's Candy. I'm just saying lol. Just Call Me Afrochick
I love you mom | |
