Just wanted to go ahead and CORRECT the initial bay picture, as the north bay (Sonoma/Marin/Napa) was not properly represented. Game recognize game, dude.

I loved this little street Lombard St I know it well.....my daughters make me go down that street every time we go to SF. Did you know that Lombard St. is not the crookedest street in the city? Lombard of course is the most popular and definitely well-manicured, but the crookedest street is Vermont St in Potrero Hill. I drove down it for the first time on Monday. It was a booger bear getting there with the steep hills. Oh yeah, we are known for some crazy steep hills. I'm a native San Franciscan, living in the Outer Mission/Excelsior district, borderline to Daly City. Most of the time it's foggy out here or at least 3-10 degrees cooler than downtown. Sometimes I want to move just to experience life somewhere else; but I know that I probably wouldn't be able to survive anywhere else because the weather is ideal for my skin issues. I attend college in Oakland, so I cross the Bay Bridge at least once a week when school is in session. The Blue Angels over the bay & Pass behind Coit Tower Typical weather in SF: FOG or half sun/half fog "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!

I would looooove to just pack my bags, get the hell out dead ass Mississippi, and move to San Francisco. I had always heard it had a large gay population but didn't think much of it until I saw Bill O'Reiley, of all people, one night raising hell a few years ago.
Apparently the gay population must have been pissed about the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy in the military and they didn't want the recruiters going to the colleges. If I heard correctly, I think the military was threatening to pull some ship that was a tourist attraction out of San Francisco if their recruiters couldn't go to the colleges. A lot of the citizens' attitude was like..."Hey, pull the fucking ship and good riddance." Bill O'Reiley was raising hell because the politicians were listening to the citizens and didn't want to upset the voters. I thought to myself...."Well, I be damned, gay people have a voice out there". I said then "this is the place for me" especially with by bold ass attitude. Andy is a four letter word. | |
