'Spread' (Ashton Kutcher/Anne Heche flick opening this weekend) Howard Stern (who hates Kutcher) raved about it. Said it's the first true, good adult, R-rated film in a long time.
Anybody heard anything? Goin' to see it? And while we're on the topic, (500) Days of Summer? As good as the reviews? If you've seen it, no spoilers, please.

I really liked (500) Days of Summer and I really appreciated the slightly unexpected ending. The lead male character (Tom) reminded me of myself a bit
Would give it a A- If you will, so will I

Yep i want to see Spread. Howard Stern hates Kutcher? Really? In what bizzaro universe do those two even communicate.
I'm reading Call Me Crazy. Poor Anne Heche. Not her fault she was a little coo coo. Very good actress though.

Would give it a A- really fancy seeing that. I can't imagine 'good film' and 'Ashton Kutcher' going together but i guess there is always a first What you don't remember never happened

They don't (although they could easily wind up at the same party in the Hamptons) - Howard just hates what he knows of him. I must confess, I find him incredibly annoying, as well.

P.S. Howard says it's very, very raunchy.

I changed my mind about Anne Heche recently.
When she and Ellen DeGeneres split-up, there were a number of reports in the media, which claimed that Heche "blamed" her bisexuality on childhood sexual abuse. She appears to have been misquoted. I just don't know how one person could have coped with so much trauma in their life. Yeah, she's a bit nuts, but reading about her life it's a wonder she can function at all - let alone act really well.

Howard says Anne brings the full-frontal crazy to the role, so that's fun. I agree with Howard: We need the return of the good old American raunchy sex comedy.
Granted, I wish Kutcher were doing it too, but oh, well. I welcome our culture's return to lewdness and debauchery with welcome arms. I hope it's a sign of good things to come.

I'm still trying to get over the fact that Ashton Kutcher has a career.

other than model, maybe? I wonder, based on Howard's comments, if he only meant that it has nudity in it? My Legacy

I'm surprised it's gotten such little press, to be an Ashton Kutcher movie He's not a respected actor though, so I can see why However, if the movie is good it should be getting more buzz. I'll seek it out my damn self...

I know he's more known for the silly mtv stuff, but he played his cards very well from "That 70's Show", and those stupid mtv projects (which weren't that offensive if you compare them to alot of people from fluff industries) and made a small fortune from it. As a result he actually has a good reputation of investing his money in a variety of global community and global stewardship projects to help others. I don't know if I need to see him in another remake like the film "Guess Who?", but as long as he's showing Good Smaritanship off somewhere purifying water in remote villages I figure he can't be alllll bad... ...although yes, some of his movies truly are stinkers

Loved it. Any guy that has ever been rejected by someone he was in love with will love it. And Ace, I know you like Zooey so I must say she looks fantastic in every single scene. Every. Single. Scene.

I'm still trying to get over the fact that Anne Heche is gay. I think she's a PTL (part-time lesbian). She married a man after Ellen and I think they're divorced now. The 80% being straight.....but I don't know. MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop!
