Not sure if this could be called a talent or some sort of tragic flaw: I seem to have an uncanny knack for "scaffolding," i.e. taking other people's skills, ideas, talents or intents and helping them really flourish. I've always been able to do things like edit a written piece into something incredible, suggest touches to artistic work that make it poignant, help make someone else's event successful, beautifully redecorate a space or tweak an outfit, instruct them on what to say or do to secure the job, defuse (or dominate) an argument, get the girl or guy, and generally be fabulous. But me? Ever the loser.
