Then, one day, she'd just suddenly not be mad anymore... like nothing happened! OMG! I thought that only happened in my life! No way. I think they all take classes or something. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

you guys are funny and you're saying ALL the things that I've been thinking I'd LOVE to book the hotel but it's MEGA expensive and I would imagine that it would already be booked (it usually books for most of the year for weddings etc), so that's out. I've had a look online and there's a lovely village hall in jackfield (where they make the world famous tiles and Coalport pottery) which is only a couple of miles from the church.. We're talking 'chocolate box' kind of place - I'll call them tomorrow and see who I have to sleep with to book it.
As for my mil, yeah - she pretty much hates me! I think she's still pissed off that the one and only time she ever baby sat, I came home absolutely bladdered! she hasn't paid a penny out for it, but she has called in favours with 'The Committee' This christening has been SUCH a pain in the arse, so far. I've already had an epic fall out with my brother and sister-in-law (wankers), so it kind of feels like it's moving away from the specialness of Elsa's big day. As most of you know Elsa has been through so much in her short little life, I just want her day to be fabulous and full of love. I totally agree with John, I ALWAYS try to make sure that both girls get treated the same, so it really doesn't sit well if we have Elsa's reception in a shit hole when Faye had hers is a beautiful hotel. Anyway - mother-in-laws I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

Anyway - mother-in-laws OK, is the sum of your relationship with her hate filled and full of drama? I was picturing a loving little old lady. If she's been a cunt to you, without provacation (and you know if you're guilty or not!) then really, all bets are off because she'll likely hate you for the rest of your life anyway. What is one more can of gas gonna do when she's droppin nuclear bombs?? 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

If the place is in the middle of a construction zone, all you have to say is that you didn't realize it was going to be such a mess - and you're concerned about logistics (parking and whatnot) with all the folks coming from out of town. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
