Im a big fan of movies. I use to just rent and copy them but i gave them all to my cousin cuz they were scratched. Now Im buying the real thing. So how many do u own? BTW the latest dvd that i added to my collection is the remake of My Bloody Valentine 3D,i also just got Watchmen. And I preordered The Last House on the Left the other day. As for cds, i only own mj and prince cds.

not a whole lot of dvds maybe 30. cds a whole lote more if i count my dad's stuff together we have 27.000 songs converted to the computer.

I went 99% digital about 2 years ago. Ripped all of my CDs to .mp3 and AAC files and got rid of the CDs through various methods.

My hard drive crashed in April and that bit me in the ass since I didn't backup




I'm 90% recovered

Right now I have about 300 cds, 80 or 90 dvds plus a couple hundred vinyl records, 100 or so cassettes and around 50 vhs tapes.

As you might imagine, I'm having storage space issues.

I own over 300 CDs, and a couple hundred titles on DVDs.

I'm picky about what DVD I buy. I don't just buy a DVD because I liked the movie. If that were the case, I'd have 1000 titles. I have a lot of TV shows and music DVDs. I have Delicious Library on my Mac, and it keeps track of how much I have of what. I forget the current numbers.

I have a lot of cds compared to most people I know IRL, but most of you guys would probably put my collection to shame

Not as many dvds though....I'm in the process of a bit of a movie overhaul (selling the crap that I got for cheap, but don't like so much, and buying more timeless movies)

Waaaay too many CDs, vinyl, and tapes to count. As for DVDs, I only have a few store bought DVDs which are all music related but I do have a lot of porn DVDs. I have a ton of homemade DVDs though where I recorded movies from the TV.

A lot of my music is just on the computer. Maybe 250 CDs and about 30 DVDs.

add to that ca. 500+ old VHS tapes and 700+ old audio tapes

I've got about 2,000 CDs and 200 DVDs
I also have about 2,000 vinyl LPs
Plus 1,000 CD singles, 200 12" singles and 100 7" singles
(I've also still got about 50 VHS video tapes)

I have 101 vinyl albums, used to have about 400, but I sold some to the local vinyl shop in town.

Zero 8 tracks.

About 40 movies on VHS tapes that I recoreded from TV.

Only about 15 DVDs.

When my OCD went overboard a few years ago , I uploaded my entire media collection (and made multiple backups) on hard drives to get rid of all the "stuff."

I'd say I've got the equivalent, though, of 300-400 CDs and just a few dozen DVDs.
