Went w/the XPS 16. HP or Sony could've had the sale if they hadn't inserted that douchey key between the 'A' and the Shift. Macs are beautiful and way, way cool, but the Blu-ray option on the Dell was just too tempting.
Thanks to everybody who gave their input - I really, really appreciate it guys!

That Dell could stop traffic with its looks.
Not in the good way. You can get a dope VAIO FW for under $1500. Even as low as $900 if you shop well.

Macbook. A little more expensive but they are problem free and last forever so it's worth the extra $$$
If you prefer to stay with Windows, get an Asus laptop. I have one with a very stripped down, bloat ware free version of Windows XP. It's a fast, cheap lil sucker and I've only had 1 problem with it in 2 years.

honestly, once you use a multi touch trackpad on a macbook, you'll wonder how you ever got around without it. It absolutely destroys a scroll bar for speed and ease of use. Next level shit! Not to mention backlit keyboard.. Music, sweet music, I wish I could caress and...kiss, kiss...
