Microsoft word - URGENT HELP NEEDED! Hi all. I'm currently making the invitations for my daughter (Elsa's) Christening. I'm tring to print the inserts but I can't get Word and my printer to do what I want them to do!!!
My page needs to be 24.5cm wide and 12.5cm high (with the writing on the right hand side of the page, so that when you open the card the writing is where it should be). I've managed to get it how I want on Word, but my printer won't take paper that wide. I've tried to do it so that the paper is turned 90 degrees, but it needs the writing to be turned the same way. The only way I can do that is to do it in a text box, which is fine but it leaves me with an ugly box, that I really don't want (I've tried tinkering with 'borders' but it won't remove it) Does anyone have any suggestions? Anything I could try, any other programmes worth trying instead of 'Word' (I have windows XP) Please help me!!! I need to get these out as soon as humanly possible (shoulda been done weeks ago ) Someone - please save me from throwing my pc and printer from the roof of my house I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

To make the border of the text box dissapear, just right-click the edge of the box (the border), then properties. Then in the borders and shading tab, select "border" and chose "none" for border. The box disappears and you're left with just text. If that didn't make sense , I can go do a screenshot for you on my Windows based system....a fate worse than death. | |
