Good ep, lots of tension. I wanna know how tall Eric is or how short everyone else is - he towers over Bill by a foot! My fave line: "It had claws & a dress... & CLAWS!!!" How many eps to go? I shouldn't even think about it I want Lafayette to get a new look, that scarf is SO DAMN TIRED I keep hopping around on this thread (I'm at work ) I found that disturbing to It's part of Maryanne's madness, but I don't like seeing a "couple" get off on being violent to each other. I'm firmly planted in denial

I felt sooooo bad for Jessica! She's heartbroken. Hoyt is such a sweetheart.
"If you care anything about her, you'll take her back to Bon Temps immediately." "Now??" That whole storyline is so good. I'm firmly planted in denial

I'm always like when I meet one in person. Shemar Moore came up to my boobs. Yea, I was liking his racerback tank action But I think NBJ might beat us up if we speak of Eric in a lustful manner

So far this has been my favorite episode of the season, minus Eggs and Tara eating a heart souffle...eww that scene made me cringe. Gotta love that Godric, so calm, so powerful, so yummy
My fav line was when Godric was telling the crooked preacher that he was "older than your Jesus, though I missed meeting him"....omg And who knew that Sookie was going to kick some Vampire ass over her Bill, she got mad respect from me last night!!!! I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

We rewound (dvr) for that. But when he sat (on that VERY expensive chair) with everyone around him and him all peaceful...was very Jesus-like. ANd the whole Sookie, slappin Lorena's hand up to the shouting match...we watched like 4 times.

oh i've been meaning to ask,
when bill's maker tasted that boy, she said he tasted different,, wasn't that same thing also said about sookie before? what could they be exactly?

I don't remember that being said about Sookie, but could be totally wrong. At this point, the only thing they have in common, at this point in the story, is that Sookie and "Barry the Bellhop" can both hear other peoples' thoughts. I'm firmly planted in denial

Billed directly asked Sookie the same question in the pilot episode. I haven't read the books, but I'm aware there is something going on. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

All of the vampires can smell the difference in her blood, that's why Eric and Pam were so attracted to her. Even the bad ones that Bill used to nest with were enamored with Sookies "aroma". Although no one but Bill has "tasted" her but apparently telepaths have that extra zing in thier blood.
What did Bill do with Barry? Because now he's attached to Lorena!! Location: Inside your mind, don't you hear me talking to you?

So far the best episode in my opinion was the one from 2 weeks ago when Sookie and that guy first went undercover into the church, etc.
Then the episode after when they were holed up was horrible (see below)! Last nights best part (outside of funny stuff like the plasma tv) was the eating of the heart souffle and the aftermath. I think the show often fails when they start showing really cheesy vampire types all banded together. And when characters have horrible dialogue, like when Sookie and the guy were holed up in the church and she is just explaining stuff in a very artificial way. Sookie annoys me most of the time. It's like she forgets she's still a human. Even last night, I was secretly hoping Lorena would put a mini-smackdown on her. "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Maybe somewhat related, I do recall Sookie asked Bill (in the bathttub, I think) if she tasted different, and he said yes. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

What did Bill do with Barry? Because now he's attached to Lorena!! I don't think so. Aren't humans only attached to vampires if the human ingests enough of the vamp's blood? If anything, assuming Bill gave Barry some of his own blood to heal him, Barry would now be attached to Bill. (I doubt Alan Ball goes there, though.) [Edited 8/10/09 16:32pm] Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου
