Mickey Rourke was my teenage filmstar Idol

LOL

I had posters in my room and watched every movie he made.
Even Francisco Assisi.
Great actor and pretty much the coolest MF'er on the planet for me at the time and I loved the wresler. Some great interviews:

Mickey seems like he went off the deep edge. I know he got into a car accident, there were allegations that he beat up Carrie Otis...
He was great in Pope of Greenwich Village

One time when I was in Scores (nyc now defunct strip club) Mickey and Tupac had front row seats for the "big stage" Tupac was cool...Mickey had on a bandana
and just watched.

Was it around 1996? They did a film together around then. I liked it alot but for the life of me cant remember the title? One of the last things Tupac did. Real grim ass film.

Rourke coulda or maybe shoulda been the next Brando or whatever, but Brando never furfilled his potential either really. Shame on both, but both are great actors though.

Yhere's an interview with him that aired on the bbc where he explanes about Otis.
Alot of Heroine involed and I saw the clip in youtube yesterday but can't find it now.
Anyway..This is another cool interview from some other guy where Mickey talks about Bruce Springsteen,
Also about Loki the dog.
