Who's Your "Person Of The Year" Outside Of The Org? It's that time of the year again, when all the popular rags and tv shows offer up their choice 4 the person who made a difference as "Man Of The Year" (Time Mag) or Rolling Stones "Artist Of The Year" etc...
So, I was wondering. We all know who we have chosen 4 our own little .Org awards, but--who do we choose outside this box? How about listing ur picks here, and list a male & female for each title: Person of the Year (Political): Person of the Year (Musical) Person of the Year (Film) Person of the Year (Religion) List ur reasons next 2 your pick.  |

I'll start.
Person of the Year (Political): Jimmy Carter - After suffering an embarassing loss 2 Reagan in '79, he remains the only former president who has done more 4 the people of our nation with programs like HUD and the Carter Foundation. This year he won a Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts.  Jimmy!
Susan Sarandon - One of the most politically outspoken artist, she has done things 4 people of meager means that have saved lives. The Heifer Project, UNICEF, Madre and last, but not least, the Center for Constitutional Rights. She is currently actively involved in "Artist United To Win Without War" campaign. Person of the Year (Musical) Mary J. Blige - "No More Drama" was/is the bomb. The emotion, the funkiness... mmm, mmm, mmm. Carlos Santana - Everyone was wondering if he could pull off a sequel 2 "Supernatural" and with "Shaman", he did, only better. Person of the Year (Film) Salma Hayek - Two words... Frida Kahlo. What a performance, what a job as producer. She'd better get nominated! Leonardo DiCaprio - If u haven't seen "Gangs of New York", do so immediately! Person of the Year (Religion) I refuse 2 answer this question. Based on my religious beliefs I cannot reveal the answer 2 this question. Just fuckin' with ya... I really don't have a clue. I bet u do, though. |
