I can't believe this scam!!!!! Bulldogs!!! The latest scam here in New Zealand is (Maybe you have it in the states too)
Is that people wanting an English bulldog puppy, have been known to pay up to $2000 (1350USD) for a Purebred one, have been bombarded by ads offering them for $650, much less than their usual going rate, have emailed for details and received an Email from Cameroon (The country in Africa) by a Mr Kimberlee saying that the dogs are actually free but you need to include $500NZ ($335USD) for shipping, so two people here did and instead of getting their bulldaog, they got a further email asking for $400 Insurance as the shipping companies insurance expired the day before the dog was sent. After waiting 2 more weeks both customers received an email, saying that an extra $300 was needed to bribe the Customs Officers in Yaounde as exporting live pet dogs is illegal in Cameroon. Finally after six weeks, no dogs so one of the two emailed a "Mr Kimberlee" in Cameroon, and received the following reply "I am sorry for delya, your dog escaped from its crate and got hit by a plane, no refunds" As if that isn't a money making scam what is, but its very clever, it was on Primetime news tonight and apparently its rife in Australia too. Maybe this is the new avenue after Romance scams become less lucrative? So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

Doesn't everyone know by now that ads and emails allegedy originating in Cameroon, Nigeria, and Ghana are scams? Who the hell plops down that kind of money without having personal contact with the seller or for a product sight unseen? Seriously .

Huggiebear said: "I am sorry for delya, your dog escaped from its crate and got hit by a plane, no refunds" This is brilliant. It's the scam equivalent of, 'the dog ate my homework'. RIP
