I'm just trippin off of the Vikes players coming out and saying brettfavrebrettfavrebrettfavre is splitting the locker room while they're still in preseason.....unlike the Jets, who waited until he cost them a shot at the playoffs....

I just don't get why Brad Childress was so adamant about bringing
Favre in. He already had two qb's with more upside albeit limited. What
the hell can Favre bring to the team now? It's not 1997 anymore. mad
If this backfires, Childress head should be on the chopping block.

Maybe it's the realization that if he didn't win NOW, his head was already going to be on the block...and like you said, Childress still envisions a pre-millenial"HE WHO IS HIM (my new name for BrettBrett)"...honestly, I think they had a good enough battle between TJ and SR....the Vikes are going to be irrelevant by week 12....just like the jets ended up last season....

uhmm...actually the jets were relevant until the 4th quarter of the last game against miami. i'd take favre over those other two b-listers anyday.

Meanwhile . . . .
Brandon Marshall has been suspended until Sept. 5.
I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

Really? After beating NE and Tenn on successive weekends, the Bretts were SB faves..not only to make it, but to win it....by the time they got to the 4th QTR of the last game, they were fighting for the last wild-card...maybe that's relevant in some circles, but as inconsistantly as he was playing, they were going to be toast in the first round if they would've made it....ergo, MY assessment that they were irrelevant. Maybe you're right...maybe TJ and SR are b-listers...all I know is that one b-lister came in and led his team to 3 wins in four games to clinch a division...while the perennial all-pro choked in 4 of the last 5 games to COST his team a chance to make a run...

I am going to see them play my steelers on thursday.
Pre season is what it is pre season.
I think the panthers will be alright as long as they pound the rock
behind that good o-line and they don't let Jake throw it more
than 20 times a game. lol

falloff I liked him well enough before he became a major friggin' Diva....the only thing missing from his interviews is Paul Mooney screaming "DIVA" everytime Favre finishes a comment....
