I had a shamrock shake and some french fries from Mickey D’s on st patrick’s day. redface

Otherwise the only fast food I’ve eaten in the last year from that list is the occasional subway and starbucks. And even that’s few and far between.

oh - I love Dariy Queen too, but that's been since about last summer since I had them as well. I love getting plain hot fudge sundaes. I don't have one near me, though. sad

I've never been to a lot of those places but I must admit that all the ice cream places rank at the top of the list. Chick-fil-A would be up there, their nuggets are so goood. Long John Silvers would take the bottom.

We only have about 10 of those chains over here. Thankfully. I'm not a fast food fan and I usually only eat it when I'm travelling because of the convenience.

But we've had 'Shamrock Shakes' here for 250 years!

How in the hell has this day an age have anything to do with this? In case you have not heard they are cooking the shit out of grilled chicken these days.

yeah, Subway was genius to get everyone thinking that eating there is gonna make them lose weight

but going in there and ordering just a plain sub with no extras is really impossible.....so they win each time

next time you are there, check out the weight of most of the customers - nobody is on a diet but perhaps they think they are

genius

oh, and is this list a list of restaurants or just a list of why America is still number one in heart disease!

Go America!! Gotta be number one in something!!

btw (I am American so this is not a hate thread)

it's probably true that if you're not a vegetarian, the subway veggie delite doen't hold a whole lot of allure. needless to say, it's the ONLY thing i ever order from subway. i did the math once, and realized that the veggie sub, chips and diet soda i have at subway has less than 100 calories more than a big mac at mcdonalds.

yet i still feel guilty about ordering the chips. lol

I had a veggie delite today for lunch, with apple slices and the diet leomande. My lunch was roughly 325 calories. Totally reasonable, and fits in well with my quite restrictive diet. I don't think you can find an option that healthy and for so few calories at any other fast food place.

confused confused

I picked up something there for lunch today. redface lol In fairness, it was a 'treat' - I was in a rush and I made my own lunch all week. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. lol

I looooove Subway, but only go there occasionally. 98% of the others I've never even heard of. lol

Anyway, where's Krispy Kreme??? bawl I would be the size of a house if I had one of those near me. boxed

OMG - I should be a paid representative of Krispy Kreme the way I have banged on about them, here and in real life. blahblah lol

Ever since the first Org meet-up I attended, when I popped my Krispy Kreme cherry... touched... NO donut has come close. Not one. talk to the hand

Luckily, the nearest branch is 200 miles away. It's a blessing and a curse. sigh
