florescent

I have to have strong coffee with milk and 2 sugars. I cannot drink it early in the morning - it makes me feel ill.
I am currently cutting down my sugar intake but can't stand coffee without sugar so i'm limiting myself to one coffee a day sad

That. Is. It!

For the last few months, every so often, one of my eyes - always the same one - has been twitching. It's been driving me crazy! Coincidentally, I've gone from drinking coffee occasionally to buying it every day. It's got to the point where, if I don't buy it, I REALLY notice.

Is that what could be causing it?! omg

All this time I thought it was the shock of seeing a dude with phimosis....

Try switching to decaf for a month (I know, I know...) and see what happens.

Thank you! thumbs up! I will...

It's been happening, on and off, the last few months and everyone says they can't see it but it makes me feel so self-conscious. redface I didn't know if it was stress, lack of sleep, whatever - I couldn't put my finger on it.

Hopefully, that'll be the end of it!

So what is black coffee w/ tons of sugar in it called?

I drink a smooth espresso type of coffee called Bustello. Its hispanic coffee, I like it so much its hard to like anything else. Nothing is smoother to me but yet its still rich.

Well, it's not that bad.. just when you get a little twitch when you're tired. I've mentioned it to loads of people and they all say they can't see it (or maybe they're being polite neutral). I sound like a freak. lol To ME, though, it feels very annoying!

The only scary thing is that my mother started developing this thing where the muscle on her face sorta wobbles. sad She has to take botox injections, to calm it, every 6 months and it reduces it, but not completely. It's heartbreaking as it must affect her confidence (although she doesn't say so) and she's always been a beautiful woman. sigh I just pray that I am NOT in line for the same thing. pray

Also, I work at a computer ALL day so I'm wondering if that might have something to do with it... I'll try the decaf first. nod

.

Love coffee. Black. Absolutely nothing added to it, just give it to me hot and we're good.

YES! cloud9

I like it iced, too, though. Strong black coffee over ice is more refreshing than iced tea any day.
It's what you make it.

For me, black means one thing only: black. Once you add anything at all to it, it's not black anymore. There's nothing wrong with that, but black is just pure coffee--and when it's good coffee, it's awesome. And when it's accompanied by something really delicious--like coffee cake or pie or (as it will be for me tonight after dinner) red velvet cake--then it's freaking orgasmic.

I prefer Dunkin Donuts brand, hot. I put some sort of creamer in it (my favorite is liquid french vanilla) and 2 spoonfuls of sugar. Sometimes I put chocolate syrup in it and in that case, I only put 1 spoonful of sugar. I'm going to put a packet of Swiss Miss in it tomorrow and see what that tastes like. I drink two large cups a day. I drink one while at home in the morning and then I put the rest of the pot in a to go cup to take to work.

Of course, my absolute favorite is the Mocha from Coffeesmiths but I can't afford $4.13 a day for a 20 oz cup. Plus, it makes my pee really, really strong.
