Looks like Alcide will make it into the show after all!!! I really hope he brings in more of the book stuff! So far he's not touched on some of my FAVORITE scenes from book two. AB gave Maryanne so much more storyline than in the book (in the books she's not even named) and in the end, when the manaed's madness consumes a group of orgy-ists, there's a scene between Sookie and Eric that is I've still got my fingers crossed that it will make it into this season somehow True Blood, this season, is almost a blend of books 2 & 3. I'm interested to see how AB ties it all together. LA LALAL LAALA I can't hear you. I'm in the middle of book two. They changed the camera angle Barry was snatched by Lorena. I had to watch it three times to figure it out.
I hope Terry doesn't PTSD too bad. And that bitch Lafayette,,,I love him. But I think Pam is getting her side hustle on and selling V without Eric's knowledge. Location: Inside your mind, don't you hear me talking to you?

That would be a total 180 degree deviation from the book, which AB has proven he's not skurred of doing. I think Eric and Pam are stringing along Lafayette to put Sookie in a vulnerable position later on down the storyline. I'm firmly planted in denial

That's how I feel about Eggs, because I'm sure his day are numbered too. He'd better lose those clothes right quick.

Eggs has had some nice scenes several times no full frontal but, hey what do you expect. We got a small glimpse of Peni this episode...(pun intended) The sex scene with him and Tara in her room... *faint* [Edited 8/5/09 15:52pm] Location: Inside your mind, don't you hear me talking to you?

I'm sick of these stupid American double standards that allow shows (especially shows run by gay men!) to exploit women's bodies but they're afraid to show some dick. We need some progress in this area!

Like Chocolate1 said, I think that Tara's going to piece everything together very, very soon. I hate to think what'll happen when she finds out that "Eggs" is killer. Maryanne gets scarier with each passing episode. Those were definitely "man-feet" in that entry scene. Why, indeed, is Bill completely ignoring Jessica all this time? Isn't this when she's most vulnerable? If she accidentally kills Hoyt (in the throws of passion) she will completely come undone. ...and where exactly did Gothrige (Goethrigg? Gothriegg?) come from at the end? Why didn't he show up sooner? Was he a willing captive? Could it possibly be HIS idea to start this war? Sunday can't get here soon enough. *In the book* Godric (also known as Godfrey) is an ancient vampire, so ancient that his origins are unknown. Throughout the millenium he was a monster, raping and feeding off young children. He despised himself and went to the FOS willingly to participate in a "Meet the Sun" ceremony, which is the vampire form of suicide. *ITB* Godric is not king or sheriff or anything of Texas. Stan (he dresses like a geek) is the sheriff of the area that includes Dallas, Ferrel (he dresses like a cowboy) is one of Stan's nestmates. Ferrel is the one that is kidnapped and it turns out he was kidnapped by Godric. After I posted my reply, I mentioned the same to my wife (she's reading the books) and she spilled the beans about Godric. (Why did I think there was a "thhh" sound in his name?) It'll be interesting to see if he dies in the show. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

I really enjoy the Bill/Lorena flashbacks. That era is so much fun and gives them so much to play around with, and she looks like she was born to live in it (don't so much like her modern-day, poor-man's-Jeanne Tripplehorn looks). "Let love be your perfect weapon..." ~~Andy Biersack
