just saw this flick earlier. i'm reading it "bombed" at the box office. i thought it was real decent. funny, kooky little horror movie. one of the better movies i've seen all year actually  . it helped that fine ass megan fox was up there  (never really checked out anything she's been in before though  ) and her cute little nerdy friend  . cleverly written and done, imo. anyone else catch it?  thoughts... Haven't yet seen it.
It got a great response at the Toronto International Film Fest, and an Oscar Winner is attached. Not that those things make for a good movie, but I'm a fan of smart horror -- and when the genre, all but a critical laughing stock in recent years, finds itself affixed to this level of respect, I feel almost obliged to see it. I heard that the trailer for the new Nightmare on Elm Street was shown before the movie at the theatres. Is that true,if so how did it look? | |
