Weird, eh??

I personally didn't hear anything...I am definitely close enough to have been able to hear something...but I'm also pretty sure I was in the shower when it supposedly happened. I was in my living room watching tv when all the emergency vehicles flew by towards the beach.

Exactly 10 years ago today on the Ottawa River:

This was photographed in Ottawa, Canada. I was making super around 6:30 PM July 28, l999 (this was daylight) when I noticed this strange"BLACK, BLACK CLOUD" close to my balcony on the 22nd floor. There were very few clouds in the sky, and none this colour. Also, there appeared to be a "DULL YELLOW SUN" moving back and forth inside this cloud, and this sun seemed to be "HIDING". There was an unusual nature about the whole cloud, so I went and got my 35mm camera, with zoom lens, and I started to take pictures. I could clearly see that this was a UFO inside this strange cloud, and I was able to take photographs, and zooms directly at the SUN/UFO without any sun/light alarms going off in my camera. I just kept taking photographs, recording the changes. There were numerous unrealistic things going on, as when I came back from another effort of dinner preparation, the strange cloud had moved away from the REAL SUN, and I tried to photograph near it and all the alarms went off, as the real sun was too bright to photograph near let alone directly at as my previous 8 photographs allowed. I now had my SECOND CONFIRMATION that this was a UFO CLOUD/CAMOUFLAGE. This is shown on photograph numer 9. Then the ''SHAPE" of the UFO Cloud had changed to the ''SHAPE OF AN ANIMAL'S HEAD" with a SMALL BLACK UFO for an eye, and a mouth and a nose. That was my first thought, but I did take TWO PHOTOGRAPHS OF THIS, for YOUR OPINION. This was my third confirmation that this cloud was part of the UFO activity. (WAS THIS A COMMUNICATION)?

The computer analysis of this series gives us a massive amount of information, and shows us a 'ROUND UFO' with what appears to be a CENTRE LOOKOUT that is visible on several photographs, and it shows up as a REFLECTIVE BLACK, on one of the computer solarization of light sources, rather than a flat black. The light coming from this ROUND UFO shows that it is minimal in creating shadows, and glare, and it fades into the UFO CLOUD without ever shining brightly, even though the clouds/camouflage do not completely cover it all the time.

Now with the help of the computer, we have found several ''ROUND REFLECTION BLACK UFOS" moving around, and clearly ''LOOKING OUT" from within this vehicle. A sign of GREAT INTELLIGENCE in camouflage and in HIDING! YOU should try and count the number of ''LOOKING OUT UFOS". There is also several photographs showing "INDEPENDENT FLIGHT" again a sign of intellegence.

We have now started to ZOOM and ANALYZE the cloud, as a UFO, and we have found that it is ''BLACK BLACK" enough to block out the real sun rays, then have a UFO SUN LOOK ALIKE peer out, as everyone would only think it was the sun coming through, rather than a UFO in a UFO CLOUD. It is only with time lapse photographs, zooms and compters, that we can PROVE BEYOND ALL DOUBTS, these are visitors. We have ZOOMED and CROPED a large section of this cloud on several photographs, and instead of anything that could be water or moisture, we have found METAL/WIRE and EDGES SHOWING SURFACE UNDER the BLACK WE SEE.

UPDATE: Searchers find 'something large' where small plane feared crashed in river

OTTAWA — Recovery teams searching for a possible downed aircraft in the Ottawa River have found something undetermined but large just over nine metres down.

The recovery teams — consisting of two Ottawa firefighting boats, two Ottawa police boats and one Gatineau police boat — used sonar and an underwater camera to scour the river bottom downstream from the Deschenes Rapids. They were assisted for part of the day by a search and rescue helicopter from CFB Trenton.

As of 2 p.m. police were still trying to use their underwater camera to get a clear visual, but a swift current and murky water were making things difficult. The police diving unit is assisting with the operation and may be asked to investigate the object, if conditions are deemed safe for them to proceed.

Police still won't confirm a plane went down but they believe that reports of the incident, which have come from both sides of the river, merit the extensive search operation. They say no reports of missing persons or planes have been filed.

The search began after several witnesses from both the Ontario and Quebec sides of the river reported seeing what appeared to be a light aircraft hit the water near the Britannia Yacht Club just before 10 p.m., Monday night. Some also reported hearing an explosion.

“It’s a puzzle,” Sgt. Andy Roach of Ottawa police said Monday night. “We still don’t have 100-per-cent confirmation of what they saw. It can be tricky, especially at night with lights at a distance.”

Dr. Dirk Keenan was sailing with some friends out of the Nepean Yacht Club when they saw the light of what looked like a small aircraft to the east, close to the Quebec shore.

“I noticed the light coming down. It was like a headlight, very bright,” Keenan said Tuesday morning. “It descended very rapidly, levelled off, then disappeared.”

Keenan, a student pilot himself, thought it looked like the pilot had lost control and gone into a dive, then briefly recovered before going down.

Keenan steered his boat toward the position, but didn’t dare get too close to the rapids in the dark. The lights appeared to vanish into the river or into the forest on the Quebec side.

One of the people on the boat said they saw an explosion, but Keenan didn’t see it himself. Nor did the passengers hear anything over the roar of the rapids.

“It’s bizarre, Keenan said. “You wouldn’t think that if an aircraft went down in the City of Ottawa it would be hard to find.”

Two Ottawa Fire Department search boats entered the water just after 10:30 p.m., but neither reported sighting anything in the water by 11:10 p.m. Firefighters and police from Gatineau also assisted in the search.

The search resumed early Tuesday morning.

Oh oh...something large, eh?

So they now are saying that the large something is not a plane so they are just calling everything off and shrugging their shoulders to the media. lol

No explanation of what it might be.

So weird.

I forgot to mention that, not last night but the night before, I heard a huge bang that made the whole house shake. I sat still for about 3 minutes in silence then got up and looked outside all the windows and saw nothing so I went back to bed. I totally forgot about it, thinking it was something related to my house somehow until someone else in the area mentioned that they heard it as well...but we both heard nothing last night.

If this is an USO, there won't be anything 2 find.

So what is the theory? These things come down from space and lay dormant under water - hiding somehow?

Actually, since humans know more about outer space than our planet's oceans, lakes rivers it's a perfect hiding place for USO's..There are more sightings of alien crafts taking off into space from our planets waters than from land. They have screwed around ships at sea just like UFO's mess with pilots in the sky. In some cases they happen to be the same craft, they are just capable of operating in both the sky and deep waters. If the craft is a USO, then no helicopter or boat will be able to track it since it would have kept moving underwater. I would guess your search and rescue vehicles are looking in one general area.

Plane rescue that never was keeps all on edge

By Zev Singer, The Ottawa CitizenJuly 29, 2009

OTTAWA-After 17 hours of searching the Ottawa River for a possible downed airplane — an emergency effort involving boats, an infrared-equipped plane, a military helicopter and dozens of crew — the search was abruptly called off Tuesday afternoon.

Officials pulled the plug after realizing that none of the witnesses whose calls sparked the search had actually seen a plane in the sky.

“The way the report is relayed for officers to proceed with a search — it was that someone was advising that they could see a small plane landing on the water,” said Ottawa police media relations manager Carole Lavigne.

It turns out that nobody actually did.

It was about 10 p.m. Monday when witnesses called 911 about a loud bang and a bright light over the Ottawa River somewhere in the vicinity of the Deschênes Rapids.

On the basis of those calls, the dispatch went out to emergency responders to start the search.

Until 3 a.m. and then again starting at 6 a.m., the river got the full treatment — the marine units, the scrambled pilots and investigators on the ground.

It was a puzzling case. There was no debris on the water, nor the oil slick of engine fuel that would be expected. Nav Canada, whose radar can pick up even a flock of geese, had no record of anything falling out of the sky. There were no reports of missing planes or people to explain it.

In the end, it wasn’t the fancy equipment that cracked the case, but the police officers who re-interviewed the 911 callers — there were three of them — and discovered that none of them had ever seen a plane.

Lavigne said Tuesday evening that there was a “difference of information” between what 911 dispatch thought the callers, or at least one of them, were saying and what the callers said they saw the next day.

“The report (based on the 911 dispatch) is about the notion that there’s one of the complainants who could see a small plane,” Lavigne said. “When it comes to follow up, it seems that no one actually saw a plane.”

Lavigne said although she hadn’t heard the 911 audio it is now clear that the dispatchers didn’t have as clear an understanding of what the callers saw as the police did the next day.

Perhaps adding to the confusion was the fact that, in addition to the initial three callers at around 10 p.m. there was at least one later call at 12:15 a.m.

Dr. Deborah Barry, an Ottawa psychotherapist, told the Citizen she and three other people were in a sailboat on the river at the time of the bang and the light. She said one of the other people, a chiropractor who is learning to fly an airplane, thought the light looked like that of a plane — although none of them actually saw a plane.

Barry said she assumed the police already knew more than she did, but later called just in case. Soon, officers came to her apartment, used her computer to print out a picture of the river from Google Earth and had her indicate the positions of the boat and the light in the sky. Police did the same at the home of the chiropractor.

In the end, it's still not clear what produced the light and the bang, although the police are confident it was not a plane.

A meteor is not a likely explanation either since falling rocks from outer space usually generate calls from a much wider geographic area.

According to police spokesman Const. Alain Boucher, a flare or fireworks would probably be as good a bet as any at this point.

The “notion” that there was a plane sighting could be an expensive one, but police officials say it’s generally better to over-respond than to under-respond.

Police chief Vern White said Tuesday night that as far as he understood the dispatch acted prudently on the information they gathered, which would have been consistent with a possible downed plane.

He added, though, that information collected in the heat of the moment during a 911 call is generally not as reliable as settled thoughts that come from witnesses later on.

“Everybody’s story tends to be more clear with a little bit more time to think about it,” he said.

White said that when he was with the RCMP in the far North, he had situations on a weekly basis during the summer when witnesses would think they saw people floating by stranded on ice packs.

Many an expensive search later, it would turn out to be a number of walruses.

Then, like this time, it was also with air support from CFB Trenton.

“I’m sure some days they hated me,” he said.

Sometimes, that’s just the way the job goes, White said.

“If you don’t throw all the resources at it, then the question is: if you’d have done one more thing would it have made a difference? You better have an answer.”

A little after 4 p.m. Tuesday, after the all search equipment was packed up and most people had left, the police marine unit that had just searched all day came back to the little beach near the Britannia filtration plant where the mission was based and went again onto the water.

It was an unrelated 911 call from a witness who thought he saw the mast of a sailboat sticking out of the water.

About 15 minutes later the crew came back to shore. The mast turned out to be a marker buoy.

Tired police marine and dive unit officer Brent MacIntyre was philosophical.

“This is just part of doing your job.”

So it was nothing. lol

I was kept up all night FOR NOTHING! mad

I'm still gonna pretend it's aliens.

I just came back from checking this out and here is what I found out. The ship that crashed near Erin's lake are aliens from the planet Virgon. Their ship was damaged by the space creatures from Epsilon 5. They are hiding in the lake making repairs to their ship. Once they get their multi-phase warp drive online they plan on opening up a inter-dimensional wormhole which will let them travel back to Virgon. They are sorry for the noise and traffic made by their appearance. They also assured me at this time Virgon has no plans of adding Earth to their Empire batman
