Great tonight, i tuned in to classic and its two for tuesday, saw the long version of Take me with u (great!) and Alphabet street back 2 back. Last night Raspberry beret!. So nice that it was not the typical, LRC, Doves, 1999, LGC.

Wow the whole Take Me With U video...! Love that performance man!

The way Prince and The Revolution skipped around the stage was too cool!

I have been watching this and laughing my ass off. I used to roll up my pants like that. The thing is everyone I know did. When I saw that on the 80's thing on VH1 I almost choked on my dinner I was laughing so hard. What the hell were we thinking.

Also the little Mattel Electronic Football game? I used to LOVE that thing.

The 1980 Olympic US hockey team. I remember that game against USSR very well.

Reagan & the Pope getting shot.

Those public service announcements like Ed Asner talking about reading (RIF I think it was??) & and that little yellow blob teaching us how to make homemade popsicles. Fuckin funny as hell

...and yeah, Fast Times rocked...friggin love that flick.

Great special! They are capturing the era very well.

When are they showing the old 80's videos? I want to see Take Me With U & the other old Prince videos.

I enjoy Elements of it.the Gadgets at the time seemed Down Right Innovative for there time period.that Era seemed like the beginning of something incredible for a while.the 1983 Segment was cool but they could ahve done like 25 Minutes on Michael Jackson alone easily.they didn't even IMHO give Him His full due.but all in all some Great Reflections&some things that were 80's things overall.

you gotta be a MJ Hater not too admit His Musical Importance over 1983&Early 1984??? no matter how you feel about Him you gotta give the Man His Due for His RUn in that Time Period?

No, actually I am not. I loved Michael and the Jacksons back in the 70's. I thought Off The Wall was the shit. His recent stuff has bit imo (but I DID like Ghosts) But after Thriller, WAY too much has been written and said about the guy (up to this day). There wasn't anymore that was needed to be said about the guy that was said.
