There is not one section of Wales that I think is ugly.

Shame about the food.

Lovely country!

I went to Betwys-y-Coed on Saturday, just for a day out. Then popped across to Llandudno and tootled off back home to Birmingham.

Fantastic scenery and I love seeing all the bilingual road-signs too.

I forget how close this great part of the world is to me sometimes..

nod I decided that the welsh must spend a lot of money on road signs cos they have to have twice as much on them biggrin

Also - how massive would Wales be if all the mountains were ironed out??!

I started off from Birmingham the weekend before last. The only parts of the city I got to see were the Metropole hotel and a pub - can't remember what it was called - the four....somethings...

Well, the WHOLE country has been awful weather-wise - Wales isn't *always* like that! no no no! giggle

And that's nearly right! I think it's spelt 'Caernarfon'. I'm glad you liked it so much! I was in that area for the first time ever last year - North Wales is absolutely breathtaking. love
