Aw, I was in Stockholm just recently, too bad you didn't have your exhibition when I was there! Hope you'll attract a large crowd, great photos!

Thank you! I like Asia too, although I have to say that it's hard for me to speak of one "Asian culture". Japan is so very different from China for example, which in turn is different from Vietnam etc. But the similarities they do have are usually things I appreciate. onenitealone said: Retina! LOVE the pictures - they're amazing! You have a great eye; good luck with the exhibition. Why in the world were you thinking about me? I hope they were naughty thoughts. Thank you very much for the compliments. As for the actual exhibition there's still a lot to be done and I'm kind of worried about the costs of framing, but I'll get there in the end. Once I see the pictures hanging on the gallery walls I'll start to relax. VenusBlingBling said: Aw, I was in Stockholm just recently, too bad you didn't have your exhibition when I was there! Thanks, very nice of you! And yes, too bad about the timing! Why were you Stockholm? How did you like it?

And wondered where you are. I *can* have naughty thoughts if you like, though. And I really do think your photos are superb... you have a real talent. I'm sure the show will be a success.

...and sometimes they just pop in for a while to say hello. I wouldn't say I ever "left" in the sense that "I'm quitting the org for ever and ever" and I haven't necessarily "come back" either but thanks for noticing my absence. I hope you are well?

These are shot from a distance though, and might not look the way they are supposed to (they should be much bigger): Really, really lovely. I'd love to see more. Just beautiful ~ the third one is stunning. Solitary, minimal~ I love the sepia tones. Music is the language of the spirit. Congratulations. It's going to be amazing! Hey you still have the avatar. Thank you for sharing my excitement! I do feel more and more fired up about it, and the orgers' comments have helped contribute to that. Part of what is so fun is that I will get to write about the pictures too, and get a chance to meet an audience face to face. I have no idea if I'll be able to sell a single picture let alone recuperate the costs of framing etc, but it will nevertheless be one of those rare opportunities to reach out into the real world with a creative effort. That is indeed an amazing privilege. babooshleeky said: those r great pics ..... Congrats!!!

Funny, you're the first person except me and my sister who's noticed the pairs thing. When I shot it I mostly tried to frame it in a way that was aesthetically harmonious, but as soon as I saw the results I did notice the two phones, the two trash cans, the number 2 on the wall etc. I even called the picture "Two" for a while. That's wonderful to hear, since that one is one of my personal favourites. I'm having it blown up right now so I'm hoping the epic scope and meditative atmosphere come across even better in the larger format. I have a feeling they might.
