According to my Astronomy Professor, He says that astrology is completely wrong because since stars move every 5 year, people have to change signs every 5 years.
Example: if your a pisces, then your really a aquarious,etc..

Naomi Campbell is a Gemini Agreed. There are some folks that are prejudice against Gemini's. But they are ignorant. We Gemini's are wonderful people!!!! lol. The thing that people need to keep in mind ...is like someone else here said in a previous post, it has to do with the whole chart (especially the inner planets) as opposed to the Sun sign. I'm a Gemini but I have a Taurus rising at the 29th degree angle. (which they tell me is a full grown up Taurus) I have a pisces moon at the 23 degree angle. my Venus is in Cancer and my Mars is in Aries at the 29th degree angle. ( a fully grown up Aries) Mars is also ruled by Aries... so I guess it's an interesting aspect to for those who have their mars in Aries. (not sure what it all means yet...but I'm still learning) same same with the Moon being ruled by Pisces ... anyway... without getting off into all that .. one has to take a look at the entire chart. Then take a look at a persons personal choices in character too before they judge. I think character is a personal choice no matter what persons sign is ... and is important. Without us Gems the world would be boring... I'm a Gem with Capricorn rising and moon in Aries...I've gotten that look when I tell people I'm a Gemini, LOL! The bolded part is important because even if the chart is the hand dealt to us at birth we still must choose how to play that hand. Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

She's basing this on what she's read and her previous boyfriends, both Geminis. I questioned her about it, and she said that she bases her relationships on signs. I mean, I think zodiac profiles are cool, but you're missing out good people if you avoid certain signs.
Hilarious! I looooove reading my star sign but I'm not 'into' it, really. Just harmless fun. Although virtually everything I've ever read about Librans is on the money. I am a Libran through and through. One of my ex-colleagues - another Libran - was obsessed with astrology - she even mae reference to it in her leaving email when she left the company. And, when I was in school, I used to have a paper round delivering newspapers. I'd leave school at 3:30pm, go to the shop and - sometimes - I'd have to go totally out of my way, before even starting my round, to deliver a tabloid to the crazy owner's house so she could read her stars. At 4pm. What the hell what she doing all day???!

I saw this programme, once, and they conducted an experiment with all the audience members. Everyone had an envelope under ther seat, with a horoscope written in it; they were told to open it and read the contents but not tell anyone what it said.
Once they'd done that, the presenter asked the audience to stand up if they related to what they'd read. The entire audience stood up. Basically, they were using the 'Barnum' syndrome - named after the circus owner - by using language which appealed to everyone. Something for everyone, that is. Apparently, this is something a lot of astrologers do which is why so many us read our stars and think it's something we can instantly relate to.

Have any of you ever had your chart done, based on the date, time and place of your birth? Here is a real good one that I discovered some time back:
http://www.alabe.com/cgi-...obot.exe?Y All's you have to do is fill in the requested information, and hit submit. Now normally, I don't really believe in this astrological stuff. But some of the stuff that my chart said about my personality was dead on accurate! RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I saw a similar show, and all the people had the exact same note. But everyone was previously convinced astrology was a real thing. Their minds changed after they got had. Sounds like Derren Brown's Trick of the Mind show from 3 or 4 years ago. He got a group of people together and got them to write down all the info needed to do a full astrological chart, plus a couple of random other things like drawing round their hand etc. Then he got them all to put their info into unmarked envelopes and he was gonna go away and do charts on them all. He said that he would use this to create individual personality profiles for them all... or at least that's what they thought. An hour or so later they got their profiles, and were asked how accurate they were. They all rated them between 80-99% accurate. It was then revealed that he'd given them all exactly the same profile, which he'd written the previous week and hadn't even opened their envelopes. He's repeated this experiment many times in several different countries, and got the same result every time. I've seen similar things before which proved that astrology and other similar 'fortune telling'/'profiling' practices are complete BS.
