JustErin..here's a normal straight answer from a straight guy...if you're interested. I'm in my mid 30's but due to genetics look early 20's...(not that I care about looking young)...I've noticed no difference in 'performance' since my 20's but this is because I've always exercised, eat right and taken natural supplements like Maca to keep my testosterone at normal levels... My arousal tends to come from my overactive imagination...I'm extremely sexual but it's under control...even though I have a cute girlfriend with a magnificent ass, that I get stuck into daily... For those interested, I've been told I look like Bobby Cannavale, but I only know him from OZ where he played some gay guy. When my gay friends take me clubbing for some reason I get attention and guys try it on with me..if I'm in the mood I let 'em sit on my lap while I hold them...end of. I'm from the UK. Erin, my answer would be (I'm almost 40) that yes, it is easier to get off when something you really enjoy or that turns you on is being done to you, but that's more to do with settling into your "ways" with age. I'll try (and have) just about anything once (or twice, or 3 times  ) but at this point, I know what I like and if I just want to get off and go on about my day, that's where I'm aiming.

Ok, so I think some of the problem may lie in excessive beating off on a daily basis.
The bastard needs to give it a rest.
But I do also think that men need more mental stimulation as they get older. I dunno about the 31 year old. I'll have to investigate further (again and again and again and again....). The last time we were together on a semi-reg basis he was 29. | |

As for my answer, it doesn't take anything extra to get me off the first time. The problem is the second time--it takes longer to recharge my batteries it seems. hmm i read your post a few times and i kinda thought you answered your own question at first ... but heres my .02 ...
i am 44 . oh my . i am old . Kinda like you said - it is easier to control yourself as you get older ... i always thought that was more because you get used to yourself and know what turns you on etc ... kinda like if you got a new drill right away - never used one ...and learned over a few weeks how to use it ... (good analogy?) i do think it is tougher to get aroused with the same ole boring stuff ... like porn for example .
