Is it harder to get off when you're older?

I don't mean, you can make it last longer, I know you can. You're more in control, that's awesome.

But what I mean is...do you need real stimulation to get off.

Do you need to get off by just doing something yourself, like jerking it or maybe having something done to you that really, really turns you on? Instead of just getting off during intercourse or head?
