no, but i consider myself fortunate in that respect.
once or twice when i was a teen, but i wouldn't say i was ever in love really back then, infatuated at best.But it felt like love at the time. | |

Yes, I have constantly been betrayed by "love". In some instances, it was because I made some poor decisions about whom to trust. In other cases, there was absolutely no indication it (the betrayal) was coming.
In fact, here are a few poems I wrote about this very feeling last summer: Pt. 3: Head spinning dizzy close my eyes Pain explodes in my mind did you know it has Colors Waves of emotion crash into the walls Around My heart hold on hold on Hold on This too shall pass Pt. 4: Chest tight forget to breathe throat clogged Emotion Shove it down down down shut Your eyes Go somewhere else Think of other things it doesn't hurt, see THERE Numb you're all numb So now you will survive this (Smile, damn it!) Heck, most days. But, when that all gets to much, I remind myself that I'm surrounded by people that love me. I'm very fortunate to have a huge group of friends that are there when I need them and really have become my family over the last 5-6 years. Most of my energy over this time has been devoted to maintaining those relationships. And they are so important to me. And in that respect, I still believe in love. How can I not? The rest will come in time. Or maybe it won't. I'll still love and be loved in return. |

My problem is is that eye fall in too easily and usually end up getting my heart broke, eye tend to hold on too tight and that sometimes scares them away. | |
