What does a 9 year old want for his birthday?

this is my own kid and I have no clue!

he needs some new pants, but that's not very exciting lol

Buy him a really cool kite.. or one of those hobbyist boats with a remote.

Some can be quite beautiful, and it'll encourage them to be outdoors. biggrin

i took my then-9-year-old nephew out xmas shopping last year..and let's just say i was not aware what the hell a bakugan was. lol

we have a nice kite already that sits unused in a closet with the cricket set and totem tennis and the tennis racquet, golf clubs, soccer boots, ping pong etc boxed

he and his brothers are very careless with games and sets with numerous little pieces sad as soon as it's opened 5 things are lost already mad

and he may want his own kite to um out fly dad. Some of those kites in my area range from 20.00-45.00 US dollars, not the stunt kites though eek those are pricey.

He HAS his own kite, probably 3 of them sad and his parents are real non-outdoorsy types lurking

He likes Bionicles but already has so many we've said NO MORE

apart from Pokemon cards and gogos crazy bones, he's not really into much else.
