My problem is, at the end of my life am I going to regret not taking a job more or regret missing out on what is effectively my sister becoming a mother? it will be okay You will still get to watch the kid grow up and be there for other more important moments! Besides with a job, you will have money and can afford to take both of them to the zoo or something later If you will, so will I

She's got an in with a good naturopath that she plans on enlisting to kickstart the process if need be. Carrie's right. the baby could just come out early. That's what happened with my niece. She wasn't due for another 3 weeks and I had to miss the Miami invasion because she came the day I was supposed to leave! maybe Mach can do a spell to draw the baby out early . So how does the babys dad feel about you being present? Surely they don't allow too many people in at once. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

My problem is, at the end of my life am I going to regret not taking a job more or regret missing out on what is effectively my sister becoming a mother? I've given birth twice, and it was an amazing experience. But that's not the most important moment for you to be there for her. She's going to be a mother for the rest of her life, and like others have said, she will deeply appreciate you offering to watch the baby while she relaxes, shops, or naps. Those are the things that I really appreciated. The day of the birth kind of becomes a blur.

Discuss this with her and tell her how you feel. I'm sure she would give you the to take the classes and job.
My opinion would be to take the job. It might be better off finanically if you took it. Babies don't always arrive on their due date it could be born early or it could be born late. Best of luck to you for this job Ohh purple joy oh purple bliss oh purple rapture! Having been present at the birth of my nephew and niece and being that I was the only one able to be with my sister when she had my niece, I understand the enormity of your committment to your friend. This job could change the landscape of your life. You can always be a committed friend to both your friend and the baby even if you aren't present at the birth.
that's my opinion. co-sign.

I heard the mums just poop everywhere. I also heard there's a not-so-lovely smell that comes out. One of my best friends wants me in the delivery room when she has one. I will be wearing a pink hazmat suit.

I love where this thread has gone. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
