I default at leaving the top 2 buttons undone on most of my shirts (and the bottom button when I leave a shirt untucked.) When I sit, though, I'll sometimes fasten one addition button up top so my shirt doesn't blouse open, making me look like some swinger.

I would never shave a chest that hairy completely.
Or trim it down so short that when you ran your hand across it it felt like stubble. Stubble might be sexy on the face, not all over your body.

I thought it was disgusting when I was a teenager, but somewhere around my early 20’s my tastes changed and now I think it’s incredibly sexy. It’s not a deal breaker for sure, but I’m guessing I’d be a little disappointed if I started dating a man and discovered there was absolutely nothing there.
Although if it wasn’t there cause he shaved it off I’d be out the door.
