Got a phone call tonight from a disgruntled viewer questioning FOX's logic in showing that angle of President Obama as he threw out the ceremonial first pitch. I said our station had nothing to do with it and he said he really needed to speak to someone, so I hooked him up with FOX Sports Net in Los Angeles.

Other than that, kind of surprised it was a "quick" game by total time standards. Past few years the all-star game traveled past the midnight hour.

Dang! What does the NL have to do to win a game? Great catch by Carl Crawford.

Obama was cool as all get-out. The ovation he got was tremendous. It shows how popular he is that he could wear a Chicago White Sox jacket in St. Louis and still bring the house down.

I was a little curious about the angle of the throw, too.
I just heard on the radio that it was questioned whether or not it reached the plate. They said a replay showed it did. He said he practiced in the White House Rose Garden.

I turned the game on in the eighth inning. I don't really pay attention to these exhibition events during the All-Star break. Wake me up when the regular season starts again.

I'm going to "METS at the Movies" tomorrow.
Hopefully they'll do better during the 2nd half. (I girl can wish, right? )

I'm hoping they do much better too. With Raul back on the phillies and them also singing pedro, I think they're horrible playing thats let us hang around is just about over. I just hope when we get all of our guys back, we start playing like we should be.
