Have any of you ordered from Aeclectic Tarot before? I am thinking of getting my cards from there, but want to make sure they are a good place first. Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. ~Berthold Auerbach

I have not Me either. Both decks I have were given to me as gifts. I have yet to buy one on my own. 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

Another question. Does the major Arcana represent any element, combinations of 1 or all or does it represent something like galaxial space (universe) or is it something entirely different? 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

I've only been acknowleding and cultivating it in the last 3 years instead of running from it like I used to. I have people in my life that are pushing me to use elements and objects and things with my gifts and right now I don't feel comfortable with that. I have been able to understand and explore my gifts without outside influences and I would rather keep it that way. I hope that you will. Don't get distracted. "What's 'non-sequitur' mean? To be fair, the tarot is technically an object BUT I embraced it on my own terms and my own time. My comfort level with it is that it reflects the people who are using the deck, both the openness and intuition of the reader and the needs of the person being read. I wasn't really open to it before for fear of some religious ideology being attached to it, but I see that it's faith neutral. As for herbs, oils, crystals and all that, so far I haven't needed those objects in order to connect. Maybe one day I'll discover the use for them in my own life but NOBODY is telling me my gifts don't count because I didn't rub a crystal first! 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

I don't think that cards or crystals have the ability to connect with some sort of knowledge floating around out there. They have symbolic value and can give a person something to think about. That's it, imho. But I do think you're very gifted, and I think it comes from you having that combination of being exquisitely sensitive, along with being a web-thinker who is intelligent and able to quickly, intuitively make connections between your observations. I think you could do a lot for a person with a deck of tarot cards, but I don't think it would have anything AT ALL to do with you reading the cards. It would be about you reading the person, and being an insightful human being with soulful priorities. So my hope for you is that those things don't end up sucking up too much of your focus. I say this with huge respect for you, I hope that's obvious. [Edited 9/8/09 19:27pm] "What's 'non-sequitur' mean? Do I look it up in a Fag-to-English dictionary?"

I don't need the tarot to read someone. I can already do that. The tarot simply is a form of inspiration and is simply an extra tool in reaching a person's heart. For that reason, I love them 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740
