Imago

when very soft, you can cut the mango up and freeze it.

Then in a blender, mix the frozen mango, a few coconut flakes, papaya juice and banana together. The frozen smoothy sounds weird (even nasty some), but the combination of flavors works so well together, it's amazing.

I even add a scoop of acai and it taste really really good.

But freezing really ripe, soft mangoes and adding them to a smoothy is really really good.

Ottensen

When you buy them unripe, dice them shits and season with salt, chili flakes, lemon&organge juice, and olive oil and scallions (or red onion) for mango salsa. Serve with grilled fish or chicken on top of mixed salad greens. It's good stuff for summer. Add an extra pinch of brown sugar or whatever sweetener you use if it tastes too tart. adding cilantro intensifies the flavor, too.

Don't forget the lime juice! I ate these constantly when I was pregnant with my first son. The guy who would come by with his push cart already knew what I wanted-along with corn with chili powder and a bit of butter lol drool
