Discontinued Burger King products

Since I don't really eat McDonalds, I wanted to offer an alternative to Purplemansion's thread about McDees' failed products. Does anyone remember;

THE WHALER

I remember them being very tasty...better than the "BK Big Fish" offered now (of course it could just be my imagination)

BK Tacos

They had them here in NY for a little while. Tasted somehwat like the Jacks / Jack-in-the-box tacos.
drool

AND since they've recently ressurected the Burger King himself...I can't wait for them to bring back Sir Shakes A Lot;

The Whaler is a pretty bad and tasteless name for a fish burger.
Tragically I didn't try McDonalds until 1987 and Burger King until 1997
So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

omg You have access to both Jack's AND BK tacos???

We have neither here.

I really miss Jack's. sigh

My wife actually craved them during her pregnancies, and for my first 2 kids I could get them (it was a half-hour drive each way to a shady neighborhood in the middle of the night). By our third baby, the last Jack's on Long Island closed.

sad

Yes we do! biggrin That's too bad about the Jack in the Box closing. Those tacos are like crack! That was nice of you to go the distance to get your wife those tacos when she was pregnant! nod

The Whaler was the best fish sanwich of all of the fast food joints. The current fish sanwich they have I would not eat if it were free.

neutral Burger King is what drove me to become a vegetarian 13 years ago ill

But I will go there and get a veggie whopper...WITH CHEESE lol and since I've started eating chicken again, I still love their original chicken sandwiches. You know, the long ones lol

Yeah, the Whaler was excellent.
There's something about the BK Fish that doesn't quite sit well with the digestive system...
