i'm not much of a gym person. but, if i go there and the weights are all in use i simply start lifting the people nearby. that usually frees up some of the weights. hope this helps.

Ok, I know nothing about gym etiquette..the one I go to is usually dead.
But, I do know about Casino's etiquette. Why in the hell must a person come try and take away the machine I am at just because it is their "lucky machine" trust me, none of them are lucky or unlucky..it's just chance. So many times I am having the time of my life doing my own thing, when outta the blue comes some old lady pulling her oxygen tank, basically hitting me with her cane, asking me to hurry up because it's her lucky machine. Trust me if it's so lucky, then why did it just take all my money.

the first time, i was like "um, EXCUSE you??" but after it happened a few times, i realized that they were excercising their entitlement as bitter old people to make the rest of the world do their bidding, and that one day i will have that same entitlement, so i just do whatever the hell the old biddies tell me to do.
