Anyone watch After Dark on showtime? I've been watching it, it's a little boring but you get more of a feel for the personalities on the show. Jordan is freaking hot!

That's how I got hooked. They started BBAD in season 8 (with Evel Dick). I thought "Oh, I'll just watch BBAD". I had never really watched the show before at all, knew no one except Dr. Will, the gay black guy, and the guy who pulled a knife (jokingly) on some chick. Well, BBAD in season 8 got me hooked BIG time. I went back online and watched the five episodes I missed at that point. I liked BB9, and then started my BB blog for season 10, and this year.

I'm not able to watch BBAD this year, but I wish I could. During season 10, I even had the feeds on Real, and it was AWESOME. My blog flourished because I was putting things up all the time. I quickly learned that year how much CBS can edit things. I learned it a bit in BB8 and BB9 with watching BBAD. But seeing the feeds and the CBS edits...BIG difference sometime. People are really portrayed differently, depending.

There was a huge racial/homophobe/f-bomb fight yesterday. One house guest (I won't say who) went off on everyone, using slurs left and right. Amazingly ignorant. I'm not sure if they'll even show it on CBS. But it was in-freakin'-tense.

They've been putting on a good show on BBAD when they actually get along. MICHELLE IS A DAMN SEXUAL DEVIANT! LOL They were having a great talk about all sorts of nastage (butt plugs, ass licking, role play, etc.). But for some reason, the camera person kept cutting to Jesse sleeping! wth>?>>

Also, Jordan is SO DAMN fun. Also, I'm a new Chima fan. She's playing low but she is very sharp. Also, she let known some crazy shit the other night. Apperantly she was raped by a serial killer who ended up dead.

At the moment, I'm watching them do a Drum Circle and Michelle is in a tiny bikini and getting freaky. It's nice to see them chilling and hanging out without all the gamesmanship. This is what the first 3 weeks is supposed to be more about. Not the Week 8 level bullshit that Jessie has been running with Nat and Lydia.

Allison Groden, Exec Prod, has since talked to Chima about her comments. CBS doesn't need or want the trouble. They've been cutting the feeds and Big Brother After Dark when it's brought up. Chima should probably chime down on it at this point. She got her point across. There was an audible gasp in the audience when Chima said what she did. Les Moonves, CBS President and Julie's husband, was in the studio at the time as well.

I knew Ronnie wouldn't vote Chima. Jeff, Jordan, Braden and co. were getting happy for nothing the night before the first eviction. Looks like they finally used they're brain and figured out Ronnie is the rat in the house tonight, it's probably too late though. Ronnie loyalties seem to lie more on team Nat, Jesse, Russell etc...

I'm of a split mind on this.

Braden was obviously trying to offend Kevin when he called him a beaner and a Mexican. This is like when Michael Richards (Kramer from Seinfeld) called an audience member a nigger.

Also, there is a LOT of calling people bitch, faggot, whore, slut, retard, etc. Oddly, Lydia only got offended about the beaner comment, but then pulled out the misogyny angle on Jeff right afterwards.

Thing is, Braden isn't the only person guilty of this. THEY ALL ARE. And dude is from California. Thanks to comedians like Carlos Mencia, they think it's okay to call Mexican's beaners. I bet Braden even has Mexican friends and he calls them beaners. It's about as acceptable in middle class circles as calling your friends nigger in low class circles.

So yeah, Braden should have had a penalty vote put against him. Seriously. The BB House rules allow that the producers could put a penalty vote against him, and that would have made the vote 6-5 without Jessie having to cast a deciding vote.

That said, because the producers didn't use a penalty vote against him, Chima has been acting like a complete tool. She won't go to the Diary Room, she's starting to be aggressively dismissive of people, and her thoughts are that hey, if these people are going to defend Braden, then fuck 'em. And honestly, I can't blame her.

Chima might be another Natalie this week. Chima is safe from eating slop and safe from eviction, because her clique is HOH. Chima did go to the Diary Room because Allison Grodner talked to her about her words during the live show. And every time is was repeated later, the feeds would cut to Fishes. By the time BBAD came on, Chima had settled back down. Chima, along with Ronnie and Michele, have some power this week, so they are flying high on that.

That whole argument about Braden having Mexican friends and it suddenly being okay to call them Beaners is ridiculous. I've NEVER EVER called one of my black friends the N word. EVER. EVER I couldn't imagine it. It's so dirty, and derogatory, and demeaning and dehumanizing, why WOULD anyone call their friends a name like that?

I can deal with the whole "slut" or "whore" thing among house guests. It ain't right, but it's not racial either. It's the lesser of two evils. But when Braden calls out Julie Chen as a "whore", someone he doesn't know from a can of paint and to that point had never talked to directly.....Fuck him. He deserves all the embarrassment he got. The thing is, he probably doesn't get it. He doesn't realize just how stupid he is, and how stupid he looked. That's to his disadvantage, because he'll go off being the same asshole he was coming into the house.

This season sounds unappealing, just from what I've read in this thread.

I wanted him to have a Penalty Vote assessed against him. It would have been the worst thing they could have done to him other than instantly evict him. There HAS to be something inserted into the rules about that kind of behavior. Hell, in BB UK, they had it so that you couldn't even talk GAME without getting a penalty of some sorts. CBS has been dealing with the fallout of Braden since his comments, and they should have just gotten in front of it so the game could move forward.

Also, note that Casey has walked up on people in the first week and said "what's up niggas" or "move ova niggas" etc. And let's not forget how HORRIBLE Jun and Alison were to Rob back in the day.

London, Miami and Hawaii were the others I watched. I didn't get to see Boston or Seattle. After Hawaii (season 8) that was it for me. I watched 1-8, except 6 and 7. I ordered pizza, stayed in all day, and recorded all of London when they did an all day (Saturday) marathon of Real World 4.
